It still makes me so sad that we didn't get to see more of Kish. And it's sort of strange storytelling that they stay in Landview but Oliver isn't in stories with John, and Kyle isn't in stories with Roxy, etc. Like they dropped out of each other's lives. It would have made more sense if they left town. Ah well, miss them still!

The story was ended when OLTL and the actors couldn't come to terms during contract negotiations. It was said that what the actors were asking for were unreasonable. For instance, one of them is said to have asked to be paid the same as longtime veteran Robin Strasser (Dorian).

@@gigarise The network was very nervous with the gay storyline. The head of ABC daytime even visited the set during the sex scene between the two actors to make sure it was "tasteful". The Kish storyline and Dorian's temporary activist marriage to another woman was blamed for OLTL's decline in ratings so the storyline was cancelled.

I read that the two actors found out this was the end of their storyline the day they filmed this episode. To bad. It was a good storyline and they made a great couple. But 9 years ago, the country was in a different place...thank God we grew up. Although the country has to endure an embarssing leader each day, We have made great strides in the LGBTQ community.

What the judge said about Kyle being a student full time and Fish being a police officer full time is stupid. Most parents work full time its normal life to work full time! This sucked! I was so happy that the guys got custody of Sierra but we didn't even get a final goodbye! I wanted to see them back at Kyle's apartment putting Sierra to bed and them with their arms around each other and saying how happy they are and that they are a family. I also was hoping we would get one more kiss since the last one was back in January. I'm going to really miss this story and I don't plan to watch OLTL any more.
