(JUST LIKE) STARTING OVER
Our life together is so precious together
We have grown - we have grown
Although our love is still special
Let's take a chance and fly away somewhere alone
It's been too long since we took the time
No-one's to blame, I know time flies so quickly
But when I see you darling
It's like we both are falling in love again
It'll be just like starting over - starting over
Every day we used to make it love
Why can't we be making love nice and easy
It's time to spread our wings and fly
Don't let another day go by my love
It'll be just like starting over - starting over
Why don't we take off alone
Take a trip somewhere far, far away
We'll be together on our own again
Like we used to in the early days
Well, well, well darling
Our life together is so precious together
We have grown - we have grown
Although our love is still special
Let's take a chance and fly away somewhere alone
It's been too long since we took the time
No-one's to blame, I know time flies so quickly
But when I see you darling
It's like we both are falling in love again
It'll be just like starting over - starting over

I was born in 2004, i'm not a guy who cries and breaks down a lot, but this gentleman is the one that Made me cry a lot of times. The reason, beside the lyrics and his voice, was that Double Fantasy was released 3 weeks before his death. I first heard this song here in NYC on 77 WABC radio station, boy was i happy that there was a possibility of a Beatles reunion. that went downhill after that piece of garbage that murdered him who's name i refuse to ever mention if only that coward was successful with his suicide attempt back in the 1970's.

the coolest thing about this song is that John was so impressed by Bergman's Cries and Whispers that he actually sampled one of the bells. John and Bergman was the 1900's most important persons. John was murdered and Bergman was forced to live several years in exile. that's how we treat God's gods.

Did you know that John Lennon was abducted by aliens on 23rd August 1974? Since then you were just a man named William Shears Campbell! Open your eyes you sheeple! "John Lennon's" "so-called" "death" was just Campbell getting tired of being both Paul and John. For that matter, George Harrison was replaced with Billy Shears too, on his trip to India! When that guy stabbed him, Campbell realized that he should get while he could and killed off Harrison too! Now, Paul never actually died in that car crash, instead, he actually replaced Ringo Starr, who was crushed by one of the Thomas The Train trains back when he was narrating for the show, so actually, Pual is the last remaining Beatle, but everyone thinks he's actually Ringo! Well, that would be true, but the person who stabbed "George Harrison" (actually just Billy Shears) was actually the original George Harrison, back from India at last. Well, that's not completely true. He actually came back with the rest of the Beatles, but to avoid being caught by Campbell who tried to kidnap him, he disguised himself as Cynthia, when John realized, he decided to help George escape by getting a divorce, but in order to fake Cynthia, after George had left, he convinced Yoko to pretend to be Cynthia and hired William Shears Campbell to replace Yoko. After Campbell killed off his fake George, He wanted to stick to his original role as being just Paul, so he and Harrison came to an agreement. Harrison would replace Yoko and Shears could go back to being just Paul, who was the richest of his personas. This all went smoothly, but Campbell still had one persona left: Maharishi. So he did what he does best and retired and died two weeks later. And don’t even get me started on the truth about what happened in Toronto. The point is everyone is blind, stupid and they’re all sheep who are too afraid to open their eyes.

20 years ago my father cried endlessly to this song after my grandma died (she was the kindest soul in the world). He lost his father a year prior, so the loss of his mother so soon after was even more devastating. Over the years, I teared up to this song remembering his heartache. At 64, he developed brain cancer, and, in my own self pity or preemptive grieving, I listen to this song and share his pain, a pain no one wants to face. I will miss him so much.

Greatest singer and writer ever I def agree..... But he wasn't as much as an activist as U might think. He didn't even want to b called that. He also according to many bc more moderate as he got older... Plus he NEVER preached. He was also VERY appreciative of servicemen.. And very patriotic and wanted 🇬🇧 to be English and loved Englishman and Irishmen and Scotts and he also bc very thankful and loved 🇺🇸

My biggest influence was the Beatles. When I started playing guitar at 16 years old. Today I am a 57-year-old musician with a 33-year career. John was a light to the planet. I believe they shut John Lennon up, he went to New York with the intention of bringing peace through his songs. But peace is of no interest to the world that manufactures weapons. Unfortunately, pacifists end up dying. That’s how it was with Jesus Christ and unfortunately this world is like that, full of injustice. But Lennon left the most beautiful two songs that are eternal, no one can take that away from us. Lots of light John.

Many things points at CIA involvement via independent forensic tests of the bullets of Mark Chapmans 5 rounds Smith and Wesson. Like the 8 bullet holes in line like a semi-automatic pistol rather than Chapmans revolver. Operation 40 was the CIA group suspected of killing Martin Luther King and RFK.

Losing John Lennon still hurts. My own marriage was falling apart when he died and I remember wearing black to work and being in a state of shock. He REALLY was “starting over.” His relationship with Julian was beginning to get better, he was being an amazing father to Sean, and most importantly, he was starting to remember his connection with Paul. The Beatles were about to get back together again in 1981, along with Paul and John (literally getting together again.. because McLennon.) There is so much proof of McLennon, and this song is one of them. John sings, “just like the early days,” which is a reference to John and Paul going to Paris together in the early days. All of this would’ve happened in the 80s. It would’ve changed THE WHOLE WORLD if it wasn’t for Mark David Chapman. He ruined what could’ve been.
