how soon do you think you'll get snow up where you are?

@@FroggyTWrite last year we got snow here in November but all the locals stated that it should have been snowing mid October, but it did get to -1° Celsius last night so it should be with in the next month or two

Apparently, North Bay ontario, got snow i think a few days ago lol my sister told me that this morning

Is it all soft wood around you? There's a bunch of old maple around here but I don't have a wood stove yet.

@@MaritimeUnprepared ya it's mostly soft wood I think at the back of the property there's a few hard wood trees but I believe mostly soft wood

@@MaritimeUnprepared and the wood stove I have is my brother in law's, he made it from a old trailer hot water tank, he welded it together, it works pretty good, but ya a wood stove is the best way to go off grid in the winter as it's heat, and you can cook on it when there's no other means
