Sophie, this is such a wonderful capsule of this time with your family. There was a moment I just started to tear up and cry just watching you have dinner with your family and weylie which reminded me and made me miss my family and friends so much right now. Seeing you work alongside your dad or bug your mom made me miss my family and the days we were just like this. We see our family less and less as we get older but the times we do gather and spend together are precious and important.

I love this episode so much. I keep finding myself rewatching. It’s just something about Dad’s and their girls. They are always in the background silently watching, not ever overbearing. They are the fixer-uppers of your life. And yet, we sometimes forget they’re there and take them for granted. I lost mine 5 years ago. Seeing you with yours brings warmth to my heart. I wish your parents great health and will be around for many many many long years ❤️

This vlog took me back to the days when I helped my dad build things, when I was a teenager. These memories are truly priceless. I wish I had recorded my memories as well. Specially when your parents have moved away and your future children get to play on the deck grandpa built in 2020. ❤

Thank you for sharing your life and your family moments. I am not a “commenter” at all, but scrolling to the comments I saw people commenting about the loss of their loved ones. I love your videos and I see how you have evolved thru time. I really like your style and the length is not an issue. What got my attention immediately was the title. I could not stop my mind of thinking of the last moment of my dads life, besides me. May your father and mom have a lot of health and life. I was once living with my parents and spending time with them, and now I know there is not enough time that you can invest with your parents that you could feel, later on, that was enough. When they are not here anymore, you will just missed them all the time. My dad passed away on November 8, 2015, and I saw his last breath away. I just loved him so much. He was my light. God has given me a husband and two amazing girls, after that, and we have my mom who has been an amazing grandma. When you are a parent there is so much understanding on how your parents were when you was a child. As my dad was, and your dad is, they are happy doing stuff for their children, been useful and giving a helping hand. I bet this was an amazing thing to share with you, as well. God bless you all!

It’s nice at your age (as a young adult) you realize how special it is to spend time with your parents and make these memories as adults. I came across a video where they had a conversation asking the person how many times do you see your parents a year, he answered 2-3 times a year. Then they asked approximately how many long do your parents have left in life, he replied maybe 10 years. The other person concluded to the guy, so then you have like only 20-30 more times with your parents... that was just such a shocking revelation and how precious time spent with parents can be as you grow as an adult.
