This was one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. My wife and I both got teary eyed when we heard it for the first time. For some reason we both thought of Titan AE. Its such a beautiful song.

I lost one of my best friends from my childhood, a couple months prior to this album. It hit me so hard, then my wife surprised me with telling me she was pregnant. So I had the emotions from dealing with the loss of my friend to those with becoming a father. I listened to this song so much when my son was born. I cry just thinking about him, wishing my friend was here to meet him. I love this whole album.

Yep, he played an acoustic version at one of his recent shows saying it was about his daughter. I love this song. Dayseeker is something truly special
