I thought I might see a post from you today since you seemed to have figured out your new YT setup. I will look for you when I get back from PT later today. You and I had quite a few heart-to-heart talks back in Dec. and first week of Jan. We had talked about you writing, and I gave you the subject of Max, Dan and Dusty - to write about what you know. You remember? Then, I sensed a break in our kinsmanship. I thought I may have disappointed you but being passive, I let it go. I had been all over the board with my moods, changes in meds, and found no fault in you whatsoever, dear. And I am not looking to blame you as I do remember what you yourself have been going through. I had so hoped to hear more about your writing, so may I ask how it's going now? As I mentioned the other day when I reached out to you, I had dropped out of chatting for a few weeks, though I continued to follow everyday. Could not go a day without Max and Dan. If you have looked in on them today and read any of the comments, you will see that Dan answered multiple questions today, to the sweet surprise of everyone he talked to! I've been watching about 10 mos now and never saw him comment as much as he did today. I am convinced he is the happiest he's been in this new place than I've ever seen him. I found myself responding to several posts myself, so maybe I'll try it out again, and maybe this time not make it a full-time job, like I was doing! I have certainly rambled around here, there and yonder. Trying to peck out all my thoughts on my phone but can't type as fast as on my laptop. So bye for now. Hope to hear from you. So what am I to make of this? Looks like you not only overcame the YT peskiness but also have mastered some new skills as well. Wasn't quite sure if you had gotten a new "computer" i.e. laptop maybe? I know you said something about an iPad. Anyway, hello my friend. I've been distracted past couple of days watching a sudden turn of events under the milperthusky YT channel. I think I mentioned that one to you before. Quite suddenly a few days ago, Millie started exhibiting pain symptoms in her back legs and back in general. Xrays show probable spondylosis and a possible slipped disk, but they have to keep her on pain meds over weekend because they won't be able to schedule a CT scan until Monday. I'm pretty sure if they were here instead of England, she'd already have gotten a CT and surgery, which is what looks likely. So poor Millie, she's only 7 y.o. I have also had two PT sessions, Wed/Fri, and already have better ROM range of motion than before! Also on Friday, I joined a fitness gym, Planet Fitness, after one of my best friends was telling me about it. The most intriguing detail was the hydro massage bed. It's online under Planet Fitness, and when I viewed the video, I said that's what I need. You lay down in it and it does all the massage therapy, though no one is touching you. I've had massages in the distant past, but they are too expensive on S.S. I did splurge last Feb. when I was in Clearwater Beach, FL and had the most wonderful massage I think I'd ever had. Is massage something you are able to tolerate with your fibromyalgia? I would think that would be a wonderful therapy for you. So, back to the gym, I have an appointment to meet with their trainer on Mon. before I go for PT, which btw I will be doing MWF, scheduled through 3/15 already, and go over with him my history and what I'd like to accomplish. I basically sat down in my home 5 yrs ago when I retired and haven't moved much since. The hospital I worked at had a fitness center for a few years with a director and all kinds of programs. For money reasons I'm sure, they ended the programs, but left the equipment in place. I had been walking on the treadmill for three years, so I continued doing that everyday I worked. Good cardio. So, I went from walking everyday to zero walking. As a result of my sedentary lifestyle, coupled with my depression, my muscle tone is poor, and basically what they call my core is weak. So I will start out very slowly walking on the treadmill and day by day, with perseverance, I will build myself up again. This is what I've needed to get me out of the house and moving again. How it all came together like it did is beyond me. I attribute it to God's grace and tender loving care. Will write again soon. I simply have no faith in FB let alone anything said to be private which is not including medical records but saw that coming when I first was learning those programs. Paper and pen and stamp and I’m a 😃 girl. Stay positive, happy and healthy as without our health, nothing can compare. Certainly not wealth.... 🙏🏻🌹🕯
