Happy Wednesday,
I thought it would be fun to do a question answer. Normally when I do my lives, it’s cooking or baking and then last week I really enjoyed just talking with you. Sharing my get ready with me things I do in the morning and then just how things are going with our family.
A lot of questions about our family about me as a mother how we do things with such a big family, why do I still take care of my kids and their young adults, how we do vacations how I come up with my recipes so I thought it would be a great idea to answer some of the questions that I have been getting lately.
We’ve been getting a lot done around the house and even though all my kids are not leaving at home they still are around and come over. Have dinner with us. They still call for advice and need help so a lot of people think as they get older they don’t need you anymore but I feel like my kids need me more than they did when they were younger.

Hi Heather I have an adopted grandson who will be six this week he is an unexpected blessing for our family we all got up on a Wednesday mooring had no idea we would have a baby before the son came up on Thursday my daughter in law had him in her arms.a true miracle for our family.

Heather I have so much respect for you and Luke... Don't ever let anyone make you cry. You are such a strong woman and deserve all the happiness. I used to wonder why you make food for your adult kids but I understand that cooking for 3-5-7-10 people. Its really not easier to make less. You and Luke have opened your home and life to help children who needed a home. Thats such an awesome thing to watch. Thank you for letting us into your life.

As he retired child psychologist who worked with street kids throwaway kids, foster kids adopted kids and dealing with the parents. The one thing I learned from my experience of 35 years is that the parents who adopted, who fostered cared, who took in these different kinds of kids, Would not tell the truth of the difficulties of being a parent and that truth goes beyond 100% honesty. You were giving a question and answer., And which you are telling so much truth about the difficulties of being these different kind of parents. I adopted as a single dad five kids and, with all the education, I have including two masters and wanting to get my PhD, but through circumstance, I became a victim of a crime that caused me to be in pain all the time. Even with all my education, it was tough to be a single parent. However, I would never give up, all my experiences because my children turned out to be when of the greatest educated adults. Dad reflected on my dreams for these kids. Thank you for being honest because that’s true. It’s going to go along way. With the other parents who have large families and present themselves and these kids, as being always so happycreates a phoniness that you do not have. You’re very very one a few that has created an honesty that people need to see.

Thank you for the homeschool advice my kids are 2 and under right now but I feel very called to homeschool my kids but I’m nervous how I can handle it because I’m not an efficient person. I feel like things that take most people a few minutes takes me an hour or two. I also need to cool it on the cleaning and cooking and take time to play with the kids. Love your videos!

Y do people have 2 b so mean, I too LOVE the color of your walls!! I LOVE your whole house, especially the beautiful master bed & bath!!! I wish my Mom was like that. I am 50 with a 16 y.o., this day and age I think being a very family-oriented family like yours or like mine with my daughter and my husband most of the rest of my family is going to have a sister who lives in North Carolina that I don't see it left and if I'd like and a brother who lives near me but I don't see him as often as I like either because he's constantly working with his he has his own business and he's always everywhere so it's hard so to me as I can tell with you like family is everything and being able to do things with your family making all those memories with your families and years later looking back I think is very very important

Thank you for just being you, open and honest!!! So my question is, is your cooking and baking trial and error or do you follow a recipe for say your pineapple ribs? I feel 60% of what I cook and bake is throw this or that in and more than likely it comes out great, but it's the other 40% that I'm worried about. If I try and follow a recipe I somehow mess it up so bad no one will eat it lol. Help what am I doing wrong???? Thank you for your time and help!!!

I hate that people think that once your children are adults you should bow completely out Of their lives. I’m sorry but God gave us our children for life and while we do back off when they are adults and let them make their own decisions, we are still related and we do love our children and when they hurt no matter what age they are, a momma’s heart hurts right along with them. We STILL praise them when they accomplish something in their life too. Love for our children doesn’t quit just because they reach a Certain age. I have 2 stepchildren in their 40’s and one bio son is 40 and two bio sons in their 30’a. I don’t get along with two of my children but I still love them My other children realize that I am my own person and I do make mistakes so they forgive me
