overall the effect is good. that said, i'm pretty convinced that he pre-recorded his playing, despite the recording having several mistakes too. it's not uncommon for keyboardists to play a pre-recorded backing track. his hand motion and the sustain pedal don't match up with the playing. other players' motion match up with the sound, so it's not a video/audio sync issue.

this showcases very well, how to play the rhythm/background melody while someone is soloing, giving them the room they need for the solo to expand. and if two or more solo at the same time, they solo working TOGETHER. having two solos not working together at the same time is most often too much for the listener. two solos working together is just pure porn

I had to stop playing my saxophone 4 years ago after I fell ill with my chronic health conditions,, I had a traumatic experience with my music teacher at the time and I haven’t been able to open the case without flashbacks and panic attacks,,, So it’s been collecting dust,, This video gives me hope that I’ll get back to it one day and relearn how to love music again, The energy you guys radiate is just so infectious, I love it,, Seeing you all jamming out together, each instrument getting its own time to shine is just so fun, it’s what music is all about,, I hope this lovely group continue to play and love every second of their time together :,)
