If you get this figure, buy some extra patience while you are at it. It isn't terrible, but its small size and multiple tabs makes the whole figure fiddly. If the figure was 5-7% larger like it's first studio entry, it would be a delight. As it is, Hot Rod falls into the change once and leave which mode appeals more.

Never ever again. Finally got him into car. Gun was even hard to put together. Also falls out on left side. Seems ok on right

This figure is a bit of a Tab-former, but when all is said and done everything fits together pretty nicely (at least on mine).

Lot less durable than the other transformer toys. I just left it as it is. Complete waste of time trying to transform it. Not recommended

This toy is far from a simple transformation for kids. Thankfully this video exists cuz the instructions are worthless. The complexity of the toy assumes kids have allot of patience. Nothing like the original transformers toys (this is more complex and far less durable)

Mine doesn’t transform the legs just snap off and the talking parts just don’t click into the sports in my opinion it’s just a plastic piece of rubbish

Hardest part was following leg instructions. Folding the feet up and in... that joint is so tight feels like it will break. Once i got that done was simple as tabbing 38 spots. Sheesh

I can't get the arms to tab in correctly on car mode, below the windows. It's leaving a sizeable gap, similar to MP Sideswipes car mode issue. I'm guessing it's something to do with the shoulder alignment? Spent like 45 minutes just messing with the arms, frustrated. Edit: I figured it out, I think. You have to angle the bottom of the skirts (car side) outward and then tab it up & in.
