Sorry to hear of both your past and most recent run in with the ignorance of overt racism amigo. I once was in a situation very similar to yours several years ago now. However, my boss was the one that stepped in and spoke up for me. Anybody that's still being persuaded today to hate another race as a whole, is unfortunately weeak in the mind snd lack the ability to see the world through their own unskewed perception. The only thing worse than our kids experiencing episodes of racism today, is them being brainwashed into being a part of it. Your response was stella my friend. I live in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. When my wife and I first moved here 9 years ago we did experienced racism. Not now since a lot of Latins have moved in and most of those people have moved on. But I don’t hold anything back when it comes to it. I remembered one time when first moved here my wife and I were talking in Spanish on a low tone and old lady that was on the next table in the restaurant said to me in an arrogant way. Here we speak English. and I instantly spoke back to her (I was raised here and speak English) I know, but I am speaking Spanish because am speaking about you and I don’t want you to know what I am saying, do you have a problem with that? She got up and left.
