its amazing what invisible strings connect us all..like this amazing music.. my story is completely the opposite..well almost. I live in Kenya, thee most corrupt country ever haha..no offence to my country. I come from a not so well doing familly. I am a terrible student, probably from my huge dad and mum issues. one of em left me for another fam and the other..well..expects too much from me and is also always very dissapointed in everything I do or say( to the point of sending me away to live with my grandparents..then my uncles..and my aunts..) i havent seen her in years..we talk thro the phone tho..but fight like everytime. im just tryna get away and be free (even actually tried to run away at times). iv got big dreams but they seem impossible to get to (I wanna be an actor and artsist..no one really cares or takes me serious..but its cool tho, i know im good and im gonna make it). Iv never had a girl like me back...unless they are pulling a mean prank haha:) so i...these days i try to focus on myself and hence shutting myself from everyone including my friends and family(used to have some serious anger and trust issues so most of my friends dont like me..but i changed and we are good now..but stil dont talk to them much so). This inevitably led to depression but i fought my way out( i had thoughts of ending it at times..one time i almost did actually). Other than my art, my guitar and my skateboard Lofi is my escape..(and rock..) so its amazing that all of us have different stories but still bond through music u know. Its not all bad once u know your not the only one. Thanks for telling your story..i dont ever talk about ish like this but this helped..plus its cool since no one knows me and most likely no one will read this so..it aint such a bad place to let this all out :). I started listening lofi, because my ordinary playlist is really distracting and I can`t work with it. Now I just inspired by reading comments and want to share my little story. I have lived a typical life of teenager, but felt extremly bad. Styding, friend, boyfriend, hobby, family - anything wasn`t valuable for me, all my emotions were situational and nothing were long. I started to making scars on my body, because hate myself for being depressed in such good life. I felt empty, when stayed alone with my own mind. I don`t know when and why I started to feel better, but now everything is much better, than it was earlier. My comment is reasonless, useless and take your time for nothing, but I think, that you must know, that emotions are just emotions, you must not feel guilty for it. Try to share it with people around and one from all 7 billion will help. The name of this lofi mix is something I think about quite often. I want to have that moment where I say, "I just wanna stay here forever." With or without someone. I feel like it's finally feeling like you've finally reached absolute peace. It feels like you aren't thinking about the future or the past, but just the moment. I picture myself sitting atop a rooftop with someone close to me, and seeing the stars. I would be crying tears of joy from the seeing the stars in a big city. Right now, because it's winter and I live in Canada, the sky it brighter at night and I've been seeing the stars outside. I always get so happy. I have PTSD... I was never in the military or anything but my older brother died when I was 17 ten years ago he caught swine flu along with pneumonia a heart attack on the way to the hospital and after 3 agonizing weeks he passed after a surgery he was 25 at the time my PTSD did not manifest until I had a kid of my own in 2016 and every so often I get bad anxiety attacks like I am right now at this moment worrying and thinking too much and this stupid virus brings me back to those nights wondering if hes gonna make it or not I've only recently discovered lofi music and it helps but sometimes it's not enough I only write this comment to feel anything even some type of relief I thank you for reading this

I've lost a lot of people including the love of my life, she was my neighbor and best friend for 10 years and i worked hard to win her heart and we got engaged. 3 weeks later i lost her and my sanity to a car wreck in the fog. I called her phone that morning hundreds of times... even after I was informed she was gone... I kept calling her phone for weeks... hoping it was all a bad dream... that was 2012. Till this day if i call someone and they don't answer its like a bomb goes off in my head. She was 21 years old, our lives had barely begun. Music and poetry helps with expression, I never sought out counseling or therapy. But i did find eastern Orthodoxy and prayers for the dead in the last couple of years. After years of deafening heartache i found some peace in the mystical and mysterious ancient faith. There is more after this world.

I work at a gas station, my hours are 3:30pm to 12am, I bascially close down the store, I'm alone from 8 to close, and I always bust out my speaker and play this as loud as I can without being disrespectful to customers during that time frame, its kinda lonely having no one to talk to those final 4 hours, and it's a little scary being alone at a gas station with robberies and stuff, but this music really helps me stay calm and helps me finish my daily chores without being bummed...so thank you.. -from the girl who works at Exxon Mobile

Which Mobil? At a Florida Circle K here. No option to play my own music. Store open 24/7, so hours are more all over the place. Customers are pretty disrespectful sometimes, so that makes it harder to be respectful. Everything is noisy. Stuff always breaks. (And customers tend to break it, because some of them are Neanderthals. And then you have to explain why it's broken to the ones that aren't.) And I know the fear of being alone you feel. Not just of robberies either. If I can visualize a terrorist attack on the station, so can anyone else. I have to hope no one with an evil mind has as active an imagination. I play this track when I get home, to de-stress.

Under the moon gives me the feeling of genuine happiness. Its been so long since I’ve felt that. I’ve been longing for that feeling since i was 13. My parents divorced, I lost my house and all my belongings, and the only thing I had was my PS3 and fallout. Even with all that i had happiness in that game. But over the years, it lost its feeling like rust on metal. After awhile, That feeling of emptiness and grey days began to overcome my days and I just learned to live with it. Live with the mask of normalcy so no one asked what was wrong became my normal. But it only goes so far. After graduating HS I felt lost. The only schedule I had of waking up, go to school, come home, study, go to sleep, was gone. Being thrust into the world only made the feeling of loneliness even more that present. Every chapter of my life, I had happy moments but that loneliness was always there. When I joined the army I believed it was a new start, I felt new. I thought it was the beginning of me, the true me. It was only a pause on my life. It feels tough somedays but I found my happiness in my young family. Niece, nephew, and young cousins. I live to be the uncle that I had growing up. One they can confide in, one that they can tell anything too, one that’ll take them anywhere. I find my genuine happiness in that, i find it in them.

My boy friend( we both like each other but didn’t get into relationship yet) showed me the lofi music. I’m suffering from depression and anxiety for more than 1 year. I tried to keep those inside me all the time and don’t want to bother anyone. My mood is either flat like died water or intense like storms. He’s a much calmer person and showed me this type of music all the time. While I see strangers commenting like you will go through the struggle and sleep as you deserve and stuff, I feel so much relief to see not only me confusing and questioning all the time. So I want to say than y’all. I feel the love and getting realized more about those no-needed negative emotions can be gone now❤️
