Hello! This is exactly what my mum had, which happened after my dad died and she too nearly had a meltdown over why it was happening to her. She had a very slow resting heartbeat and it got to the point where she was fainting and ended up with a head injury at one point because of it. She had a pacemaker fitted (after much complaining from her!) and it's been a life changer. The cardiologist explained they are the most modern technical bit of kit they make, and it can do all sorts of incredible things. It sits under the flesh on your left hand side but they generally try to make sure it's sitting under fat so it can't be seen. The procedure is really simple, you have a local anaesthetic and they just make a tiny incision and attach the leads to the heart. They can then set your bottom pulse to something like 60bmp and you will just feel so much better. It means if the heart goes too slow the pacemaker just kicks in. You go for check ups which are great as the pacemaker can tell them what's been going on, and you can have it adjusted if you are feeling a bit out of puff. I think some pacemakers can actually attach to your wifi at home and it can speak to the hospital. They really aren't just for old people, even children have them and you may well find that it gives you an entirely new lease of life as you'll be able to run about and not worry about reaching for oxygen. xx

Georgina, sending you so much love!! The iron thing would defo be connected to your diet. PLEASE eat some leafy green veg, salad, broccoli, spinach. I know you don't like it but you can train your body to like it as you'll feel so much better! The iron tablets won't work alone, you need to eat right to help them along. So sorry you're going through it, please don't see this as me having a go at you or a hate comment; I admire you for your strength but I really do feel your life would be improved with a better diet. Even if you got some nice veg with your Chinese or something 😊xxx

You make my problems seem insignificant but i was still in floods of tears at 5am this morning . Now trying to press reset button on my day ! Take care and i hope that Leeds Hospital can sort you out . I didn't realise Jamie Oliver had a side job at Leeds Hospital !! 👨🍳 ❤🐨

Hi Georgina, I would strongly recommend the Ancol harness for Alfie when in the car as it takes any pressure from, if it is necessary to brake sharply, across the chest and not the dog’s neck which is much safer. We also use it to walk our little dog and again it stops any pressure on her neck if she pulls. I cannot recommend it enough to be honest. We get the solid material one not the mesh one but she is very comfortable in it. We are on our third one. She is 15 though so a five year lifespan for the harness is great.I so hope you can get some help soon re your heart rate/breathlessness. I too have a chronic condition and it is so wearing and depressing when we are unable to do even the simplest of things. Mine is very bad right now and like you I am waiting for a new treatment. Also like you I am hoping against hope that I will see some improvement. Love to you and all your loved ones. You are such a lovely, strong and brave lady. XXX

My Mum had a pacemaker when she was well into her 80's it was a very small surgery and she was so much better afterwards. I would recommend it. Some very young people have pacemakers too and it gives them a much better quality of life. I think that you would feel so much better and able to live your life as you want. ❣🙏

All I have is a functional heart murmur. I am definitely praying for you. God will help you get through this. He has Ellie in His hands too. I hope you will believe and cling to that. Hope you feel better soon. Love you!

It was soooo lovely to finally take part in one of your Crystal Lives last week, thank you. I am so sorry I missed this week's. As you are someone who gives so much of yourself, spiritually and emotionally, it is heartbreaking that after such a particularly sh*tty year, you still cannot seem to catch a break health-wise. If there is anything that can give you strength in these moments, it is that you should know that you are loved and cherished. Not only do you have a good direct support network with Alex, Simon, etc. , but also your cyber-family who look out for you and worry. For my part, as always I send much love, hugz and warm, healing energy from the French capital. My mum is still suffering from long Covid, over 3 years after getting it, and she has also got herself some of these same oxygen canisters to help with her breathing. BTW... I also love Koppaberg, my particular favourite being their Raspberry Lime Cider (which I discovered a few years back whilst visiting my folks in North Wales.) Take care, we are all rooting for you, and I have no doubt that Ellie is right there at your left shoulder every step of the way, looking out for you. xx

To hear the absolute twists and turns on your path thus far is utterly awe inspiring. You have emerged grounded, logical, compassionate and curious. It reminds me of the song "Rolling River God" and you have become so utterly soft, strong, but soft and safe for others. I'll be listening several times to take notes for my doctor. You might have just connected some wayward dots. I hope we can get the oxygen in the US. THANK YOU. Your sweet vulnerability is someone's saving grace. Probably mine. 💜💜💜

I’ve heard that iron supplements work a lot better if you have vitamin c alongside it. It helps your body absorb the iron. So try a glass of orange juice a day. Or try a vitamin c tablet. My little girl has Down’s syndrome, and was born with her great arteries the wrong way round. She’s had heart surgery 3 times so far. I feel for you, Georgina. Really hoping you turn a corner soon and start feeling better ❤

I’ve decided not to colour my hair. I’m trying to get all of my damaged hair to grow out. I want to see how much grey is actually there. 🙂I’m trying to go natural because my hair always gets brassy once the colour fades. If I hate my natural, fine hair (when it grows out), I may just do a few lowlights so it isn’t getting terribly damaged. Your hair looks lovely. You will look lovely with grey hair because of your blue eyes.

Hello Georgina 🤗 I'm sorry you're feeling poorly at the moment. I just wanted to let you know that I have two persons in my friend zone who have a pacemaker and they're both under fifty years of age. They are perfectly fit and healthy. One of them had her put in at Avery young age. I do hope you can get the best help. I am also struggling with my grays 😉. Yesterday I did the best thing ever - i went for highlights. It blends the grays perfectly and I can keep letting it grow without bothering to much with it. Sending 🌞 and 💓
@georginavlog Жыл бұрын

@Tassilago Жыл бұрын
@@georginavlog 🤗. I think you can do what I did. Bleached bright blonde, thin highlights ("baby highlights") throughout the hair to soften the natural white strands that are inevitably coming. Since you're already quite blonde it shouldn't be a problem to get to level 10, which is the "blondest". I wouldn't recommend a total hair bleach, because then you have to maintain the outgrowth, but with highlights you kind of disguise it. Plus, bleaching is quite distressing on the hair. If you then want to change the tone from red/gold blonde to a more ashy or cool tone (and I mean cool as in the opposite of warm, not 😎) you can ask for a mild silver or ash toner. After that, all you have to do is maintain it once in while with a silver schampoo. I truly believe it would fit you. You have a beautiful, cool toned skin and blue eyes.

@@georginavlog I have had both types of heartbeats: rapid and slow and the pacemaker kicks in when my heart rate is too low and records when I am back in atrial fibrillation. My ablation procedure occured 11 years ago, but I am now experiencing atrial fibrillation again. I was told that this could happen and that I will most likely need another ablation. Don't give up! Just take each day as it comes! Glad to be of service by commenting and I will keep you in my prayers! 😁🇮🇹
