The penalty system is still rubbish. I was at Indy, and someone ahead got glued to the wall and unstuck as I moved left to go round, which resulted in me ploughing straight into their rear. Needless to say, I got a 4.5-second penalty for my troubles. Add to that, someone else with a skill level that had no right to be in that lobby was unwittingly causing all kinds of chaos.

Went from P1 to P10 on the second to last lap of Daytona last night due to a car in P14, purposely slamming into me and my draft partner after we both maneuvered away from him. He got a 1.50 second penalty, and earlier that same race, I got a whole 2 seconds for going off track to AVOID a collision. The penalty system is terrible.

I also have a video where I go off track *on a straight* to avoid a laggy rammer and I got a .8 second penalty for an "illegal pass". He got no penalty for slamming into me, and I get a penalty for avoiding him. Mildly infuriating

Unbelievable I've been taken out plenty of times but usually just a noob panicking or not using radar but that was outright murder .I ve only ever reported one player before but they deserved reporting too imo

@ I like the concept, however the wheel physics and no vr is a big loss. Once I went vr I cannot enjoy flat screen racing. Microsoft should get in the vr gaming business. Also, the no spotter sure sucks.

@@jwells2401 The wheel can be dialed in to suit your preferences, it just might take awhile. I don't care about VR at all and will never use it, so it doesn't matter to me that it isn't the game. I also don't need a spotter when I have arrows, a radar, and mirrors to know where people are. 🤷🏻
