I am glad you let Home Free sing through the song before commenting. The heroes the song honors deserves that. Thank you.

I know you are new to Home Free. Did you realize that the bass singer who starts Brothers in Arms is the same guy who starts Mayday in a tenor voice? That's Tim Fouat for you. Incredible range. If you didn't realize it was the same guy, you should listen to both songs again.

Home Free just knocked this out of the park...they nailed it. It was filmed immaculately as well !

You were very quiet? Thank you. Most reactors to this take awhile to "recover". A few smile and laugh. They probably heard about it already. But Thanks. You were very appropriate. One feels Home Free as much as they hear them.

While yes, this is by Dire Straits, THIS version by Home Free is a cover of the Finnish A Capella group Club for Five. Tim asked their bass Tuukka for the arrangement and he sent it to them and highly praised them saying the "echo" sequences made it totally Home Free.

I personally have never been in the military and hence never fought in a war. I have had personal struggles and shared struggles with others and I realize the two are in no way comparable. I have the ut most respect for our men and women who serve. One thing that came to my mind as I have watched several of these videos is that men/boys who go off to war.. some of them die physically but I feel that all soldiers who go to war die a little inside. War changes them and they have to live with the things they have seen and the things they are forced to do to survive. God bless all of them for doing what they do to fight for us all to keep us safe and free. Great song.

Home Free can make chilling, sobering music. They can give you belly laughs or take you to church. They always make music with superb harmonies and original arrangements. Great reaction, honor the veterans in your country.

Another good reaction. You’ll find that Home Free doesn’t have a lead singer. They change who sings lead on each song depending on who fits best with the song. This arrangement is based on one from a Finnish group called Club for Five. I suggest checking out their version as their bass singer is also excellent.

They recorded this for Veterans Day which is in November here in the US. Home Free is very patriotic and always pay tribute to the military. Just thought you might want to know why they chose to do this song, since it is very haunting and sad.

The song is a masterpiece of Home Free. The fantastic harmonies, on point. And then the voices of Tim and Chance, phenomenal. But Tim's super low tones make for an absolutely perfect goosebump feeling, what a voice - wow

Such a genius touch to show the silhouette of the fellas in front of the window. I know some see it as a "ghost"y reference but it strikes me as a reflection of the POW/MIA flag. We'll never know just how many of those met the same fate as the soldier of this song. 😥

This is made for Memorial Day. In the US, this is when we remember the fallen from all wars and the elders who fought in them. Beautifully done song.

This is one of my favorites of theirs. Their harmonies, Tim’s low notes…goodness he goes low. Loved the echoes. Loved the black and white look of the video. Tim and Chance looked ghost like in the windows, so yes I think they are dead. So well done. Good reaction Lyfe. I subscribed.

Subscription tip - if you play acapella (especially Home Free) the subs will follow. Acapella bands are kind of an underground success - although they rarely have media play (radio, TV, etc.) they have a massive fan base. One of Home Free's songs, for example, has had 20 million views. They're my favourite, however, Pentatonix, Voice Play, etc. all have huge fan bases. Thanks for playing & commenting on this (and yes, I just subbed to your channel).

In my opinion, the two up front are dead. You can see the ghost like figures through the glass panes. The other three are left to carry on their story! This was written and done originally by DIRE STRAITS. IT IS A VERY HEAVY SONG ABOUT THE WAR BETWEEN ENGLAND AND THE FALKLAND ISLANDS. The fantastic TIM FOUST did a wonderful job with the somberness of the story with his deep bass. Adam Chance followed by continuing the story! They both were beautiful. The harmonies were out of this world. I believe this song to be one of their finest! THIS SONG WAS A MASTERPIECE!!! A MASTERPIECE!!! NO ONE GETS BETTER THAN THIS! THANK YOU FOR YOUR EARNEST AND EXCITING REACTION! You are rapidly becoming one my favorite reactors!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS! GOD BLESS YOU IN THE UPCOMING NEW YEAR!!!

All I could think of listening & watching this video was the futility of war in any country. There are no winners only losers. I have always loved this song by Dire Straits but think Home Free did an excellent version of this song. Tim's natural bass was awesome & so were all the guys doing 5 part harmonies.

The original was performed by Dire Straits. Home Free's version is much better. A little heads up, you haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to Home Free!! (lol) They have approximately 260 KZbin videos, including studio, concert, quarantine and Story Time with Tim as well as hometown videos. A lot of their videos are comical. Some videos date back many years. In the older videos you won't see Adam Chance, aka: Chance. You'll see Chris Rupp (co-founder and brother of the beatboxer, Adam Rupp). Chris left to begin his solo career around 2016 and Chance took his place. Austin and Tim each have their own KZbin channels. You can find collaborations between Home Free & Peter Hollens, Tim Foust & Peter Hollens, Chris Rupp and Tim Foust (the list goes on-and-on). I find time to listen to Home Free everyday. Enjoy your new adventure!
