There will never be another like her! You had to have been there! ❤ I was 19 years old in 2001 and I’m telling you it was a time to be alive! This is the energy of my generation. No monster claw acrylics, no baby hair bangs, no humongous BBLs, No umbrella eye lashes. Just very subtle, classy with a little bit of edge. I miss The 90s and early 2000’s

And we're almost in 2020 - almost 2 decades after that interview was filmed - and for some reason people, more specifically some celebrities, be STRUGGLING when they have access to better products, a wider variety of said products, more advanced technology, the internet, social media, hair stylist, make up artists etc. Or even when they are not "struggling" per se it's just not as good as what I'm seeing here or in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e32knYhpg6eaaKc I'm so confused.

I mean just to put foundation on now you need concealer, highlighter, primer, more concealer for under the eyes, then highlight on top, a contour kit for the cheeks, blush, gold highlighter for your forehead, setting spray, more highlighter please, I haven’t even gotten to the lips, eyebrows, and eye lids yet. O yeah more highlighter please. N put lil primer on my shit too!!!!!!

Y’all don’t need anything. The beauty industry feeds off the insecurities of women & make y’all think y’all need to buy all these different products when it’s not necessary. It’s about money & business. They make y’all think y’all need 6 different products just for 1 eyebrow & y’all go and spend all y’all money. The number 1 & only thing you truly need is self confidence which can’t be bought. Society is all about tearing each other down instead of building each other up especially in the black community. Trust me ladies you are all more beautiful & unique in your own ways than what you think. Don’t think so much & stop looking at social media & tv all the time to set your beauty standard.

MoRgAN amor right?! Basic manners apply o everyone! They're universal and can be used by everyone brought up correctly. My children wouldn't dare ask or receive something without having said "please and thank you". Same as how I was brought up. And nearly *everyone* I know. Manners rant that big off a thing o learn, or accept that they're use frequently. I don't get it! Lol. This lady didn't give a second thought to using correct manners because she was a beautiful, pure, angelic soul that left us too early. She would put all these "females?" to shame with her femininity. A pure heart now walking with the other Angels. Rip LiLi. Babygirl

@@serenitybeats1677 Always trust your gut when it comes to people, friends, men, even decisions. If something dont feel right never do it, no matter how small it may seem and no matter who says it will be fine. Dont hesitate to walk away from toxic people no matter how close you to you they may seem. Surround youself with positive and ambitious people. Negativity is contagious. Also important one is start saving from now to be a homeowner. If you are able stay home do so and save (minimum half of any income you get). Don’t mess up your credit. Also if you can pick a career or degree where income is high and there will always be a demand. People may say you dont need a degree, well you always need a plan B. People may say money isnt everything but it is when you have bills to pay. Trust i have 2 homes so i know. Wish someone told me this at 17 so thought i would share.

Yeah, I noticed that. She seemed a lil annoyed too but I’m not saying that in a bad way lol. I love Aaliyah, trust me! We’re all human, I could just pick up on her mannerisms, body language and how she was responding to certain questions but I think during this time she was kinda overworked w/ the music career and new acting career. Aaliyah was really blowing up during the time, she was young and I think she was starting to feel the effects of a rigorous & demanding schedule..

She was only 22 years old in this interview and shortly after this, she passed. I miss when artists took 1-2 years off to prepare for the next era/album after a successful one. Now artists today drop an album every 5-7 business days. No growth. No evolution. This video once again reminds me that we have no idea when our last day on this earth will be. We can dream and make all the plans but when God says it's time to go, it's time to go. I'm reminded to Live my Life to the fullest and fulfill my Calling. I always wonder did she know the day before or the day of when she passed was her time coming and did she feel ready. Hard to believe she would 40 year year. RIP Aaliyah

Remember Job 34:10 says that God does not act wickedly. Death is wicked. It was introduced by Adam and Eve's disobedience. So we should never put death and God in the same sentence. He wants us to have life (John 3:16). And you are right we can be making big plans but dont know that tomorrow we are going to die.

Travis Gooden what I interpreted from the comment is that anything can happen, but God is waiting for you if you welcome him into your life. Not to mention, he knows everything going to happen so it would make sense for him to know your death date! He is the creator and a lovely one that I’ll give myself to when he’s ready for me!
