Pete and Hillary I can't tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I was born on my Grandpa's farm 78 years ago but haven't lived on a farm for decades. Your channel is such a great blend of restoration, livestock, humor, cooking and family values. I spend more time watching KZbin videos than I do watching TV and yours is my favorite. Watching the cattle respond to your call reminds me of doing the same thing on my Uncle's milk farm...one of his pastures was on top of a hill and the cows would be out there during the day. When we went to get them for night milking it was nice to stand at the bottom and call them in without having to climb the hill to get them. Keep up the good work.

Your cattle are absolutely gorgeous; healthy and happy! It is so nice to see a traditional farm operation where the animals are treated with respect due a living creature instead of just a commodity. Just because animals are raised for food is no excuse to treat them callously. Thank you!

M'be it took Titus one year of not being on top to teach him to have a little empathy for his brother. He seemed to want to follow Ordin and almost check on how he's doing. Always a pleasure to see the herd reunite and sort out their pecking order. God bless you both in your efforts.

As a member of team Orden I'd like to register my grievance about Orden not getting enough pasture time which affected his fitness levels leading to an unfair competition 😤. We demand that our boy Orden gets an equal amount of exercise next time over to maintain the spirit of the competition.

I’m Team Titus, so YAY Titus! I was so sad when he lost last year and I’m happy he redeemed himself this year. I think he had an edge over Orden because he was out on pasture - he got more exercise and maybe packed on some extra weight from eating fresh grass.

Love your Channel Pete . It’s so sad that you have to explain nature to people who are so far removed to the idea where food comes from . Everything in the wild so to a farm has a pecking order . Even the chickens if they see a wounded or hurt bird they won’t stop till it’s gone to protect the health of the flock . Loved the updates and there’s something soothing about cows eating grass ! lol

It's difficult for some people that did not grow up on a farm that there is a pecking order within all species, and these animals are not pets, but food and will someday be slaughtered. I use the line, "You're confusing this farm with a petting zoo." Some get it, some never will.

Have been watching the channel for a while now and look forward to Titus and Orden doing their tussle. It's always interesting to see who wins, but know that they'll be back buddies after a couple of days. It's great how the herd knows what's going on and get into the action too in their own way. Of course all the content is interesting to watch, not just the cattle. I'm amazed at how much knowledge you have Pete, about farming, mechanicals, practical skills, and business acumen etc . And you have a good sense of humour 😀

I tie some paracord/string to one of the end posts on each roll of electric netting. That way I always have the string to tie them off when I'm done using them, and if I'm on uneven/sandy/unstable ground I can tie two lengths of netting to each other as well!

When rolling up those fences, if you roll from the hard edge simply place a paper over the upper face of the fence, leaving some of the paper sticking out. That way you'll never be faced with having to find the opening, and you'll never get it tangled.
