Pete: You have the voice of a narrator. You remind me of the teachers we used to have in grade school back in the mid to late 50's. They were always able to capture our attention to what they were saying merely by the quality of their voice. You have that same great quality.

I simply love watching these videos where the two of you work together to accomplish something. You are so fortunate to have one another and the rest of your family. These videos are simply the best way to start a beautiful Sunday morning. I am also so glad that you have found custom pistons and other engine parts for the Black Diamond engine. I had a feeling you would find them eventually. You are also fortunate to have machine shops to take that engine block and head to -- most of the old line machine shops around here have closed their doors.

I do not tolerate brush growing around any of my buildings, except the flower beds at the house. I keep the brush in check with RM43 which I buy at TSC. Mixed 7oz to the gallon of water. Application in the early spring and late fall.

I once commented that the excavator would become your favourite toy, and I believe this video has proven me correct! Better check those track components soon before you lose a track, they're expensive to replace!

Pete, I can say after years of struggling to get things done by hand, a tractor with the right implements and a mini excavator, saved my life. I was able to clear land for pasture that was taking me forever. My kids and wife hated dragging brush. Before I could only cut the trees but leave the stumps behind. It was a game changer. I was dragging round bales behind my truck and unloading the from the trailer by hand. I enjoy a hard days work but this equipment has made everything I need to get done a lot quicker and easier. I am glad to see you are able to save yourselves at the end of the day. You are not getting any younger and having the tools to make your chores easier is an amazing thing to see.

I'm subscribed to four channels who all post on Sunday mornings. I always watch Just a Few Acres Farm first.It's such a pleasure watching content I can relate to. I'm just a 74 y.o. fart city boy whose grandfather farmed and raised a few cattle and sheep.. After marriage, I bought a house where I would rototill 1600 square feet each April and plant everything from tomatoes to squash and watermelon. There was nothing that wouldn't grow. I also operated skid steers and mini-ex's as part of my job so I felt almost as if I were sitting in the operator's seat while watching you. If I were still working, I'd follow your lead and hang an air freshener on the excavator.

Another great video Pete and Hillary, nice to see you getting stuff "cleaned up around the Barn" always feels good to do some "House Cleaning around the place". as for the 62 "CornBinder" I can't wait to see it when its all done. glad to hear you're doing well with all the parts. I hope when the time comes you spuce the old girl up with some paint to clean her up a bit. It just dawned on me the link between you Hillary and myself and my wife. she worked with me on the Hay Truck when I was dealing in hay. for over 10yrs we loaded and unloaded it together, and then I started my Satellite business and she helped me run that for 30 yrs. so I know what its like to have a good woman at ur /my side. Cattle really look good! You got a lot accomplished in this video. Things seem much more automatic these days. Losing the pigs really freed up alot of time. The truck project was really much more interesting than initially thought. Don't know how economical it will be to run but a nice advertising opportunity with the farm name and logo on the doors and a good paint job.

You two kids! Just enjoying each other's company and discovering brand new doors all around the barn! Who knew!? I think you've been holding out on us Pete. Of course there's always the chance Hillary jacked the voltage WAY UP years ago and when you tested the fence you forgot all about all those doors. HhhMmm? How in the world did you ever manage without that Case? You're getting so deft with it soon you'll be doing needlepoint with it! You two kids need to get the barbie warmed up and have a great dinner after such busy but beautiful days. And Hillary --- turn down the voltage or Pete's gonna make more noise than those tread rollers!
