The benefit to the composite bats, like the ADV, is after they have broken in. My so played a drop 8 during 12u, but it took winter BP and half the season for it to open up.

Know what. I was given like some unreleased Easton rebel when I played USA ball, and I had a fence hit, well it bounced a few times then went to the 250 foot fence and it was a line drive! I had a single thought off of it, the outfielders were way out and I was so ready to run more but my coach held me

Great video, but quick question on the drop sizes tested. How did you figure out what drop was being used in LLWS? All the bats in the video are either -10 or -11. How were you able to determine they weren’t hitting -8 or -5?

Good question. If you got 02:09 in the video we show the drops we tested. As per how they compare to what the kids n the LLWS regionals were using, its a bit of a guess as we can't tell from ESPN feeds. But, to keep this fair straight forward and as fair as possible, we used the drop 10s and 11s. We'll have to do a follow up video with drop 8s and 5s to see if that changes results.

Yeah. In the description, you can see the link to the data we collected watching the regionals. It was close. We missed that bat, the DSB Made, and the Select PWR in the video. But so many bats, so little time. Haha. We'll work on a follow-up video to give those bats (and the Bonesaber) a fair shake.

Not really, The connect is definitely less still. As in it doesn’t hurt our hands as much. But the performance was almost the same.

Saw several kids mashing with the DSB Made 1-pc composite and also the Warstic Bonesaber Hybrid. Would have been cool for those to be included but understood- smaller companies, less available, etc. Seems like overall, aluminum bats are probably a better choice in USA cert.

100%, my travel ball league is wired and makes us use USA bats, and personally, the adv sucks, the goods is mid, the cf sucks, the voodoo feels like a usssa bat but is extremely fragile with a bad sweet spot, and the catX is very hot with good sweet spot and swing weight, I game the catX right now and I think it’s the best USA bat on the market

I have been coach LL for awhile. I iwn everything from the Ghost to the Meta. I get them to review. Have stud players. The Select is the same from 2018 to 2025. The Select -10 is the best -10 period for gas. The old Prime is the best cheap used bat. Both are the most reliable. The Good and Cat Connect are decent. I have seen both break enough. My #1 pick for best bat for USA is the Bonesaber Hybrid. PERIOD. 2 is Select is the close 2nd. 3 Prime 4 Icon due to sting mostly. 5 Cat Connect over the Goods but again they are close. Easton hasn't made anything great since the Ghost X got banned. The 360 is 100% fine, the ADV1 was a failure, the Hype is another miss. None of the Eastons have been as good as their old Beast X, but the Select snd Warstic destroy them.

Good stuff here. You could be on to something. Definitely weird the Bonesaber was so underrepresented in the regionals. Easily < 5% on about 200 kids we tracked, and that’s counting Idaho who had 50% of their players. The super majority of players didn’t have a single kid swinging the Warstic Bonesaber Hybrid. Outside the 2018 Quatro, and Icon, the Select PWR was all over the place.
