Florida WR Kadarius Toney
Junior 5’11 190 lbs
There might not be a more underused elite playmaker than Florida WR Kadarius Toney. He makes the most out of every rep he gets. Toney is an electric playmaker who is shifty and makes defenders look silly with nasty jukes. Some call him the “Human Joystick” because he breaks ankles & defenders have actually hurt themselves trying to tackle him. Florida should be using Toney similarly to how the Chiefs use Tyreek Hill, but he’s just not being used as much as he should. If he’s used more within the Gators offense next season, more people will be talking about Kadarius Toney.

Okay, this makes massive sense. Every play he made is within 15yds of the LOS. The Chiefs want him to make catches in route out on the break of a route, and he's never done that. He's a #3 quick option, almost a 3rd down back at the wr spot.

There might not be a more underused playmaker than Florida WR Kadarius Toney. In his career, he averages less than 2 carries & 2 receptions per game. I don’t see why he’s not involved more in the offense. Watching these highlights, you can see he is utilised in quite a narrow field of plays. everything he does starts level with or behind the line of scrimmage. This suggests that he may have holes in his contested catching and capacity to create separation. For all that he is incredibly agile and has a wonderful capacity to stop/start, he does get run down from behind which suggests he is fast but not elite fast. Without downfield catches or highlights to show his route running, i have to suspect that he is either not great at this facet OR he has poor playbook retention. We will see as the new football season progresses just what his real level is. Here is hoping that he has just been biding his time in the shadows but with such a narrow range in his highlights he has a heck of a lot of areas he needs to show out in before one could consider him a realistic draft prospect.

I would say high 4.4 too low 4.5. He's extremely quick though. Usually guys that are quick don't have straight-line speed because the faster you are the harder it is to come to a complete stop to make cuts.
