Next time your heading to Blackpool stop off at Preston and try eat Indian it's like a 5-10 min walk from train station and its a good cheap curry place and the food is brilliant You can get a nan witch for £5 Its curry and rice wrapped in a nan bread and I think you can mix the curry's

Interestingly, after running costs and infrastructure (wages/rent/maintainance/marketing/fuel/taxes/other cost's etc) it's actually probably closer to a 15p burger, including bun. And if £1 is all someone can afford, good luck to em! But the fact that folk on holiday are feeding their kids what's effectively 15p worth of processed food is clearly by necessity rather than by choice. I use to live near Blackpool so i went a lot. I tried the £1 burger last year all I'm going to say is the seagulls didn't ever want it. I went back a few weeks later with a friend from work he got the burger which went in the bin. Me thinking maybe is was me decided to get the sausage one omg that one was worse. A place i ate at recently was a place by north pier, Talbot road area called Three piers Cookhouse and pub "owned by Premier Inn" they do a deal between 12pm-6pm for selected items, 2 mains for £11. We went twice and chose different meals each time so tried 4 in total and all were fantastic value for the money and the service and atmosphere was nice as well as mose people who eat there are hotel residents If you're going Blackpool again, i'd highly recommend trying that place out.

And they'll certainly fill you and your family up for very little money... Even going to a cheap local Cafe will cost you much more in the long run... So it's a no-brainer really Deano... I don't need Lettuce... Tomato... Pickle... And Burger Sauce to make it a Burger for me... Stick a decent Burger Patty onto a soft Burger Bun with Fried Onions and Tomato Ketchup... Last month I walked past a sea front burger place talking to a woman saying the £1 burgers were rubbish and dissing him. The fact is they are exactly the same as they serve but the footfall will always favour the prom and they get to overcharge the masses. (£5 each in this case, that’s a £16 saving for a family of 4 for just burgers alone) Any smart person will walk a street or 2 back and pass their money to a man who’s got a bit of intelligence to get the customers and make a saving .
