Damn, mic quality at a fixed position sounds pretty damn good. And with the bike riding, the mic quality is serviceable enough, all things considered.

I just got mine today I’m impressed with the noise canceling way better then xm4 I’ve even told my mom too yelled at me I couldn’t here anything loving the Xm5 I’m taken up too the test at gym tomorrow

How's the ANC when riding a bike and listening to music? Does it cancel wind noise like xm4?

I got mine on preorder and I gotta say....This is EXACTLY how they sound with moderate noise. When I run test with a fan blowing in my face to simulate wind that's how they sound. The voice seems clear but it sounds robotic and it's has that echo-ish (it that's even a word) feed back in the back. Like a shadow if u will. He's going about 13-14mph. Imagine how much worse it would sound going 20+mph. I've run that test in my car with the driver and passenger side window down, doing 60mph and just inaudible! That's terrible for some $300 earbuds. Meanwhile the OnePlus Buds Pro2 in my experience does a waaaay better job at blocking wind and noisy environment to the point where the person on the other side can hear me VERY clear. I paid $120 for those. I really wanna love these Sony buds but they gotta fix this.

I have the OnePlus Buds Pro2 and there's currently an issue where everyone's complaining that it's using the mic of the phone at times. Everyone tells me that my voice is muffled.

You know....I too have the same issue. For me it's on the left ear bud, so I don't use it. I thought I broke it or something. I can hear perfectly fine but people can't hear me. They also say I muffled.

The REAL issue is that these KZbin recordings are HIGHLY inaccurate. In real life, these mics sound top notch 👌🏾. This exist with every "mic test" KZbinrs do.

Probably the same firmware as the others. The problem is that ALL of these test are HIGHLY inaccurate. In real life these sound exceptionally GOOD.

I think the Apple AirPods 2 do a better job at canceling out wind however sound quality is so much better on the Sony xm5. I think it has to do with the fact that Apple has a stem mic and the Sony do not.

It’s misleading, mic it's very bad. I’m with on this device. Especially you should speak in louder, otherwise mic not recognize our sound. You cannot listen music too when the wind.
