5:39 I'm glad Sony is keeping the Aux jack on the big boy. One of the reasons why I mention that is because when DJing and doing Studio work in terms of creating music, gotta have the audio in sync. Because when trying it over Bluetooth that's definitely a delay

Honestly in the past years I always felt sony speakers felt muddy. Even the second speaker in this video sounded kind of muddy but damn this is the first speaker I have heard from them that actually sounds good to my ears from the video

Haven't the H&K stuff sounded better for the money than the JBL ones? But older H&K Studio was just monospeakers by themselves. May not matter depending on what you use it for but it's workable to use even a smaller one than this for a computer for instance and get some sense of stereo image if it actually have left and right elements.

OK, my dude, first of all, you surprised me with this speaker comparison at the end, but thank the stars you did. 🎉🎉🎉Thank god it does not sound like the xg500 like i feared! Definitely sounds better in overall quality and better bass aswell as a nice wide Soundstage! The only thing that baffles me with this thing. Right now is the fact that they didn't do the retractable handle feature like they did with the XG 300. Like literally they could leave it as is just adding that 1 feature! Guess I'll be stuck using 2 big carabiners with a strap.😅

Thanks for watching! I'm sure they didn't want to go with the XG300 handle because of the weight. I think it would probably break after some point because of the moving parts. I really dig the 4 side handles though. Plus, I just ordered a strap. The ones they sell on Amazon for the BB3 and XG500 are a poor fit because of the handle designs. With this one, I think a regular strap on the ends of it will be perfect! I'll show it in my next video of it on my other channel, New Stuff TV 2.

I need to think carefully about this. I've worked my way up from JBL Charges, Xtremes and Boomboxes so its probably time for a change. The Sony weighs in at 6.3kg against the 9.6kg of the BB3 which is a big plus for airline travels😂

I used to feel the same way about the XG500. Then I realized I could only listen to the JBL and Soundcore speakers casually for about a half hour before I started getting listening fatigue from those bright highs. That's when I started REALLY liking Sony’s warmer sound signature in headphones and speakers. The Field 7 is pretty bright, just barely under the BoomBox 3. Hopefully, after a few more sessions my ears don't get worn out.

These SONY ULT bluetooth speakers are outstanding, especially the ULT Field 7, the design really fresh, not boxy and very eye catching. The little brother ULT field 1 is good, but not as great as big brother ULT Field 7 in term of look and design. Not surprising, the SONY ULT Field 7 rapidly got many fan around the world. Not only the design, it got more improvement and impression of sound quality, especially more brighter and the sub bass is more powerful and impactful compared to SONY recent Bluetooth speakers line up. Yeah SONY, this is your coming back, after being slept for so long. This time your motto "No SONY No Party" relate to your ULT speaker and audio equipment line up very well. These are SONY should sound like...... Well done SONY....hope more ULT line up will coming soon.

That was a abrupt ending... The speaker sounds amazing. Full bass but also very clear and good all around sound. All instruments come out loud and clear. JBL sounds worst IMO, like it's weak and can only push the highs and a bit of upper bass or something.

@@claudiufiliimon6428 sadly i didn't heard it in person, but i listened the video with a pair of adam studio monitors (t5v), and the new sony really sounds more neutral than the boombox3. JBL consumer products always had issues with the reproduction of vocals and the overall midrange (or maybe i just find it scooped out a lot) and the highs gives me ear fatigue. My charge 5 died when it's first touched water, and my xtreme 3 had factory issues (woofers made a really annoying, rattling sound) and my partybox 100's led rings randomly started to act like a super cheap chinese no brand speaker. So i have bad luck with jbl products lol. Now i own a sony wf1000-xm5, xp700, xg300. They sounds damn good!
