The most beautiful quilt I've ever seen was made by hand by my great grandmother who was a Choctaw native American. She used scraps of cloth left over from the clothes she made for her family. She used no pattern, no color theory, just stiched them together randomly. It was the most precious thing ever. Over the years it saw so much use that it finally deteriorated and had to be discarded. A sad day indeed. I sorely wish I had a picture of it.

A year later and KZbin says...here watch this tutorial.....I love Just Get It Done Quilts. You have given me ideas for organizing my quilt room and much more. I have a fabric stash but mine is more like precuts. I have jelly rolls...charm packs and layer cakes but all of my precuts I put a pattern name on all of mine so that way when I get done with 1 quilt I can just grab a precut and I know what pattern I bought the precut for. That way it takes all of the guessing out of..."what quilt did I buy this one for again"...kinda thing. I like to buy fabric when it's on sale lol. Then I'll bring it home and go through my pattern books and find a pattern I think it would look good in and go with it. Thank you for all of your hard work. So many great tips! I've had a quilt since 2000 that I had began with my best friend and she passed away before we could finish, which makes it so hard to get back to quilting.
