NRI lapsed fees ₹ 21.5 lakhs per year (Tuition fees alone)

That's only official tuition fees. How about development fees of Rs. 40,000? How about hostel, mess, exam fees and miscellaneous fees? Please contact the college and find out what's the actual cost. Don't assume the total cost is only 21.5 lacs per year.

It depends on your requirements. 1. If you want to save money, put all MQ first and then NRI lapsed. 2. If you are interested in some colleges and ready to spend money, you can put MQ and NRI lapsed together. Mix and sequence as per your priority.

R1: Fill all colleges, both Telugu minority and non-minority colleges. The sequence should be as per your liking of the college. The best college, in your opinion, should be at the top. Avoid predictions. Choice filling is purely about the ordering of colleges in terms of your preference. If seat is allotted, pay the fees and join the college. R2: Fill colleges that are better than your current college. You can mix management quota seats, Telugu minority seats and NRI lapsed seats. While working out the sequence, consider the cost and your preference. Arrange the colleges accordingly. If you are very keen on a particular college, you can fill both MQ choice and NRI lapsed choice for the same college. If seat is allotted, move from R1 college to R2 college. R3: Repeat the R2 procedure.

Respected Sir, i applied for Management quota and NRI lapsed quota in 2nd round. I got college and fee was 13.5L and paid online, but when i went for joining they said it is NRI Lapsed seat. They changed my seat and asked to pay NRI lapse fee to the counseling board (tamilnadu ). How come board change fee. Please help me out sir.

Check the seat allotment. College cannot change it. Why you did not complain to the Selection Committee?

Sir checked provisional allotment order. It's mention as MBBS - (NRI LAPSED), but fee to be paid was given 1250000 and balance from security deposit 1L. I paid and took printout of allotment order.

Sir First round I took it NRI seat, I am eligible for second round for NRI Lapsed seat? Or I resigned first round NRI seat. Then can I get NRI lapsed seats in second round, If seats available in my preferred college. Even though my first round college can I participate second round NRI lapsed seats.

Can I move from NRI quota to NRI lapsed quota in Round 2? There is no direct answer to this question in the prospectus. But, I checked last year seat allotment. I could find one candidate who moved from NRI quota (R1) in Sree Mookambika to NRI lapsed quota in the same college in Round 2.

Yes, but TN does not follow the prospectus 100%. So, we have to wait and see. They may convert the seats in Round 2 or they may follow as per the prospectus.
