Austin stopped being weird about 20 years ago. It used to be a rather small college town that was affordable but had lots of culture and eccentric people. Now though, Austin is just another tech-bro city and all the interesting people have been priced out. I miss old Austin all the time. I used to have all kinds of crazy adventures full of weird people but now I just have to dodge yuppies and Teslas everywhere and pay too much for everything. (If you want to see the Austin I am talking about you can watch the movie "Slacker" from 1991, the year I moved here.)

I just found your channel about 2 weeks ago. Y'all remind me of my friends I grew up with in Houston, especially the Louisiana born dudes that came and made Texas home. I envy you guys because you seem to be law-abiding, good dudes that are about riding. I am Mexican-American, and a lot of times if us Mexicans get together in large bike groups, there is always some kind of illegal shit. I hope I can chunk up the deuce if I ever see you guys on the highway 🛣. Mexicanos let's take a page out of these rider's book. The brotherhood, friendship, the fun, and simply riding together (without breaking the law). Good stuff my guys.

I gotta let you know if you are ever back at round rock donuts, get the classic frosted donut. They are golden and unlike any you’ve ever had, they are what they are known for. And the fact you can get a donut the size of a small pizza there if you are there before they sell out.

Haha. I swear that people claim to have the best doughnuts everywhere I go. For example in Portland Oregon everyone told me Voodoo Doughnuts were the best. The Voodoo Doughnuts were good but not groundbreaking IMO. Next time I'm in Texas I guess I'll need to check out their doughnuts.
