Karan Thapar played best to save his friend Kapil Siqbal and Congress by posing look alike difficult questions to interviewee but clear point that I take from this interview and from Justice Chalemeswar about​ present crisis of judiciary is out of egoism among CJI and four senior judges if not a result of competition from either side to serve their political boss. On this I consider CJI seem got benefit of doubt because of this few reasons. 1. as said SC have no established guidelines on position and function of SC on CJI with other judges particularly on roster allocation. 2. the practise of random allocation of roster is long tradition. 3. crises may have occurred as a result of CJI acting little more authoritatively taking advantage of non standard procedure or four senior judges acting more to bring down the status of CJI as mere one among equals. 4. either side competing to fulfill the interest of their political boss among others. But one contradictory of four judges is if they say that important cases are not given and should be given base on seniority then how they give presser on appointment of Junior chief justice of HC for SC?

Rubbish! "Master of Roster" The practise has not changed since independence and current CJ is following the same. Only difference is the current CJI is not following orders of Congress and is working more independently whereas the previous ones had always been following the orders of those who appointed them (Read Congress). Thus no question was ever raised on them but now if someone is not allocating cases as per your wishes you all seem to be too angry with the same practise you guys yourself have been taking advantage of for years.

Such a one sided view. From the bench of 24 judges, 4 judges put an allegation in the media without telling what specific rule or code has the CJI broken.They could have surely made a more specific and Objective argument , after all they were 4 top senior judges of our Supreme Court .And if this is unprecedented as per those 4 judges themselves that CJI is using his powers in a discretionary way... why are the rest of the 19 judges quiet?? Are we implying that rest 19 judges are also complicit??? After all, as per the constitution all judges are equal only CJI is first amongst equal. So if he has done something that grave , which calls for an unprecedented impeachment why have only 4 judges spoken ? What about the rest 19?? For heaven sake, this is tallest body of our country. This is making mockery of our judicial system. This is sad, how some vested interest are harming our pillar of democracy, by questioning our judiciary. And equally sad to see some irresponsible media houses fanning this wild allegation of impeachment. Giving a severe blow to our constitution.
