For me it sounds way more like a bridge between the We Are Your Friends era, and cross Especially because of this groovy, kinda happy bassline that they used to play on their pre-existing songs before Cross. Since the release of Waters of Nazareth their style drastically changed, and I think that's why this song didn't came up in the final album

Wow lmao. Daft Punk stayed true to themselves too you know. Horrible thought process to not want your favourite artists to explore more outside their niche. They are the artists and they get to do what they want. Justice has also changed arguably moreso than Daft Punk did. Every album from Justice since Cross has met its criticism and has upset a certain demographic of their audience.

Dont get me wrong, it is a beautiful track, but I think it doesn't match well with the other tracks on their debut album. Cross is (for me) kinda "obscure" album on its own way, even the "love" track on it (Valentine) sounds nostalgic. The composition and the scale used for this one is brighter in comparison to the other tracks. It was a good decision to took it off, but I'm glad they shared it with us. ...And Justice For all!
