@@StepBaum If it's not an official remix (with proper licensing agreements), then the remixer typically won't earn royalties. Instead, platforms like KZbin will route ad revenue to the original copyright holders. Official remixes require agreements with the licensing company, and engineers may be involved in mastering the final track. This is not an official remix, and as such MK would be paying for engineers out of his own pocket, which for the amount of listeners he has, wouldn't be worth it. He's most likely doing this for future listeners and not for monetary gain. It's a must-have for producers to be able to mix and master themselves - the additional engineers from the record label is *usually* to remain consistent with quality.
