The Germans lost the western front not because of "sabotage" but because of many other reasons including but not limited to complete lack of encryption, massive disinformation, absence of good troops, etc. At best it's as important as the printer breaking while the entire second floor of your house is on fire. Technically bad but literally irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. As for Poland, much of the same. Despite having been on the retreat from Moscow and losing massive production capability, the Warsaw uprising was entirely squashed and the city razed. Complete failure (not due to lack of Polish spirit however, hard to fight an army with your fists when you've been starved for years) TLDR absolutely pointless overall. The war films overstate the importance of the resistance in either of these countries by several orders of magnitude. Inconveniences at best, the real threat were the proper armies squeezing the Reich from both sides.

Frankfurt, Bonn, Cologne, Dusseldorf, etc. France missed out on all the major cities except Stuttgart and Karlsruhe, which are important, but not nearly as important as any of the other zones, for example Britain got Frankfurt Cologne Essen Hamburg Bonn Dusseldorf, and the US got Munich and Nuremberg. France also had mannheim, but that's only academically important, not economically.

Relying on the US in 1939-1940 is a joke. The US army at the time was on part with the army of portugal. 500 000 mens in both army (including air corps) navy and marines and barely 250 M2 tanks armed with a puny 37mm gun! LOL. FYI the allies liberated only 30% of metropolitan France (mostly normandy and the part north of Paris) leaving behind a whole german army. The rest was done by the french resistance and army (1.2 million men in 1944). Even for Paris the US 4th Inf Div only liberated 4 out 20 "arrondissements" (those at the south east of the city) At the same time a French battleship was providing escort to the USS Saratoga in the pacific against the japanese and french pilots were flying Yaks over the eastern front. I'say they did contribute enough to get an occupation zone!

The france error was to have majority of troops outside france in netherland and belgium and thank maginot or ardennes was impossible to cross. The reason why France didn’t get punished was because the British wanted a “strong military power” in Europe (to control the continent). They also feared that the French would start a rebellion (like Germany did). Daft reason personally, I’m a Brit myself. But it just goes to show that history is never ever fair, just what the victors prefer to happen.
