I wished the recent Aquaman mythos were somehow tied to The Clear. Elementals are only explored in The Green and The Red but this could have been used to build up on that while also differentiating Red and Blue. Elements are a little niche corner of DCU but i liked that it added to some character mythos like Swamp Thing, Animal Man...etc

This may seem pessimistic and or nihilistic but I feel that the "sacrifices" made by superheroes lately are pointless because they "WILL ALWAYS" survive meaning that they are not actually sacrificing anything due to nothing being at risk of loss. I don't mean to say that I want the reverse to always happen instead, but that if you have someone actually sacrificing something, make it meaningful by not having them survive or be COMPLETELY UNHARMED. Robot Chicken did a sketch about this years ago. By the way the definition of sacrifice is to surrender or give up, or permitinjury or disadvantage to, for the sake of something else. Sure the character might survive, whatever the sacrifice, maybe but if it happens every time then it's not a sacrifice, but pointless padding, making it a disservice to the story and characters.
