I really dont think there are too many people out there who actually understand why BvS batman was so angry and grumpy . Robin aka Jason todd was pretty much his like his own son and Joker beat him to death (atleast thats what he thinks) and batman believes that if he had killed joker ,robin would be alive .So batman lost all the hope and confidence and thought his way of fighting evil is wrong and turned more aggressive and serious .Then out of nowhere he saw superman and all the destruction kryptonians brought . I mean you dont really have to be an Einstein to understand why batman was too serious after all this . I mean in a marvel film, heroes in most critical and painful moments can crack a joke because they dont really care about logic that much but if batman behaved like a normal person after all that happened to him ,then that would be weird and logicless

Hey Jaby, with all due respect, why so much dislike towards Batfleck? Lol, the way he was shown in BvS, that's how Bruce's inner persona is. He's great in JL too, no doubt even with the less brooding coz BvS was a bit more brooding inherently. So Bruce has both sides too. Supes was probably a bit too brooding in BvS, I agree, even despite the fact that Zack was trying to show a modern dystopia. I mean, I get that you're *probably* a casual viewer 'coz you once admitted you don't read many comics (not that I am big comic book nerd; I haven't read many comics but it's important to know the character sketch of the ones which are in the movie) so I get what you're saying, but DCEU is going to make some characters lighter and some brooding. That's what's going to be awesome. Momoa's Aquaman is only half of how he's in the comics. He has a serious side too which they should explore. The Flash is how he is mostly shown in the trailers which is great. Cyborg's not sooo interesting, I agree. The multi layered approach DC is going towards (irrespective of the internal WB mess over the future of the DCEU) is something to look forward to. Not every character is light and funny (with a random moment to show their "serious" side): Which seems to be the MO another particular cinematic universe has taken-you know which. Not that I hate that universe. I like both cinematic universes in fact. Not trying to rank both universes as well. I hope you read this comment and review next DC movie trailers keeping in mind the tone and main characters and without expecting "light-hearted" moments at every second scene like MCU does: it feels excessive really, irrespective of how funny or bland the jokes are.
