He didn't need the movies to become popular and at this point Batman is DC's mascot. If you're gonna compare Bats to a Marvel hero, do Spidey. Spidey is at least very close to Bats popularity and iconicness. And if you're talking about a fight, Bats would solve the whole thing through words. Bats stopped a fight between him and Cap just by saying they're both heroes fighting for the same goal and who ever put them against each other was the wrong person here (or something like that. I don't entirely remember). And if they did fight, Bats would lose a battle maybe but end up victorious at the end of the war because of his ability to spot people's weakness or flaws fairly easily.

Yes. And I am sure it doesn't matter how you say it. For example, in an episode of "Batman, The brave and the bold" (or something like that), a mad scientist (whos name i forgot) steals Black Adams powers, which are exactly the same to Captain Marvel. Batman tricks this scientist, by saying that he may have the power of Black Adam, but that he would never be as strong as the allpowerfull wizard Shamaz. That being kind of his weakness, the scientist corrects Batman and therefore, accidently says Shazam and deactivates his powers. Which means that the responsibles apparently didn't pay much attention at this point.

It seems in this movie that Flash already has an established reputation as a hero, and Batman respects him in that way ("...tight and efficient work..."). In the JL film, it's not explained how established Flash is, but my guess is barely, at least judging from Whedon's reshoots: He says he's never done battle, though many from Flash's Rogues would require battle in some form. He also implies he's never saved anyone's life, which is ridiculous because he potentially saved the life of that guy held at gunpoint from Lex's archived footage, but more importantly, this must mean he's a very early hero, as clearly any established Flash would have saved a number of lives by now. He also wasn't working at CCPD until the end of the film, and possibly was just in and out of other jobs without much seriousness. Altogether, I can see why Batman would be giving Flash orders, because it seems like Barry has a long way to go still in terms of heroic development, advancing his powers, becoming a more strategic fighter, etc. Furthermore, Batman is always known to give orders. He's usually the master strategist the team looks to for commands. Batman is also known to push his orders past the limits and piss people off this way, usually only to be reconciled later when it seems Bruce had some positive intent in doing so. Tossing the name of Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman's face is a great example of this from the JL movie. I'm a bit more curious as to how Snyder originally intended the film to play out, there was a nice Reddit post summarizing the views from someone on the inside about how Snyder and Whedon both played out the film differently. The Flash may have been a bit more of an established hero under Snyder's version. If anything, he certainly already saved lives because he was supposed to save Iris's life in a scene or flashback of a car crash.

The only thing that I could take from this is that: Barry went to the past, saved his mom, unsaved his mom and came back at some point after Justice League War. I mean, when he stopped himself from saving his mother and created the DCAU's animated universe New 52, he lived normally with the changes without noticing them until the point when he talks to Bats that he screwed things up and unscrewed them. (like, if it follows the comics, it wasn't his fault anyways)
