Watching this show I’ve got an impression that the lawyers try to impress the jury emotionally, not pressing on evidences. If it is really how justice works, that's not good.

I understand wanting to know what happened. But why drag his & her name through mud for real or made-up defamatory bs? What's the point? Take the money, build a nice memorial park or something. Or don't. Just don't see any winners taking this to court.

You make an objective point! Yet, this is Personal! They have lost a Daughter!! They need to know! They have a need to make sense of the Daughter's death! You would probably understand if this was your close family member..

@@lenitaa7938 I don't know.... Would it make any difference finding out if he was drunk or just didn't pay attention or was a bad pilot? It was still an accident and they are dead. Every time you get in a car (or in this case a plane) you trust the person driving. The girl trusted him despite the fact that he crashed another plane. And if he was drunk when flying, she knew it and she made her decision entering that plane. She was not 10. It seemed to me more like vengeance than anything else in this case.

I thought that guy was a medical doctor. I could understand why he would be doing some of the math on the falling body but why an airplane?

Sorry to spoil this 'script', but after an impact from a high speed spiral dive ground impact, due to loss of pilot control, the victims bodies would NOT be in 1 piece, they would have been in pieces, and the aircraft would have been decimated in a wider debris field than that depicted. But I know this is just Hollywood, right? And they would know more on this subject than a pilot with an ATPL and 14,000 hours experience in Flight Instruction and Airline / Cargo operations on small and large aircraft. That's Hollywood.

Albert Chehade This episode is stupid anyway. The point of the lawsuit was to determine that the cause of the crash was pilot error. I mean really? Like people knowing the cause of death was going to change anything or bring the couple back from the death. The lawsuit was stupid and the story could have been made more interesting.

Not necessarily. A tight spiral, high energy impact into the ground would have a small, concentrated debris field. This is seen time and time again, especially with accelerated stalls. A "wider debris" field, as you say, would indicative of a low energy impact or an in-flight break up of the aircraft.
