I just flew home from Iceland lastnight, I saw the glow of the Volcano from Helgafell whilst chasing the Aurora, Sky Lagoon, and on the way to the airport at Keflavik. I love Iceland, such a beautiful country with amazing people, all good wishes to them and all the people working hard to keep the power plant and the blue lagoon safe from the lava...I am looking forward to coming back to Wonderful Iceland 💚

The can-do attitude of the Icelanders is very admirable. I worked closely with them for a year in the 90s when stationed there with the Air Force and was always impressed with their ingenuity and calm in the face of tricky situations. Had no fear flying all over the island with their pilots.

These guys have been doing this since at least the early 1970s. I remember a National Geographic showing pictures and telling the story about how they saved (most) of a town pumping straight outta the ocean. Amazing stuff!! Good job, guys!!
