One of the reasons this probably won't go to trial is because her COMPLAINT does not contain ENOUGH legal elements to make a legal case yet. It was a good "PR" move by Blake Lively - a list of "complaints" that shallow followers or gullible people will just take as FACT. The alleged behaviours have no context or explanation provided. The text messages used by the NYT were edited and out of context and NOT acquired by a "subpoena". But in the social media age, and in America, BL's team knows people won't question things, ask for more information, be skeptical, educate themselves on the law, or question sources like the NYT and their degraded and unethical tactics of the last 5-7 years. I guess Americans don't understand the principle of DUE PROCESS and why it is such a valuable, valuable privilege to have. All I can say is that BL better be SURE this isn't going to backfire on her, again. JB's lawyer is no slouch and has already hinted at the major legal issues here.

Not sure who is telling the truth. Yet, Blake did a great job at smearing herself with her very own toxic, super rude and sarcastic behavior. Her PR person seems suspicious as she appears to have worked with Jones who purposely wanted the subpoena and the messages were selected by her, and are not complete. If Blake's allegations are true, then Justin is absolutely disgusting yet nothing has been proven. Anyone can make allegations so a trial would be good to reveal the full truth. As well, supposedly Ryan wants the sequel which Justin owns the rights to and Jones husband works at the talent agency that represents Blake and Ryan, and they just dropped Justin. If this sexual harassment was true then why wasn't it mentioned much earlier? This late timing makes no sense and Blake sure didn't seem to care about DV survivors. Need to wait and see what will happen. Hopefully, truth and justice will prevail!

Even the text messages show that people were already against Blake Lively without them having to coerce it. Remember, it was Kjersti Flaa coming forward and outing Blake as rude and unprofessional in her interview that really got everyone questioning Blake’s behavior. The fact that she isn’t mentioned a single time in any of Blake’s complaints or that the interview in question hasn’t been addressed publicly by Blake proves that she wasn’t part of the smear campaign and that Blake created her own reputation that was outed by that particular reporter.

Blake filed her civil complaint right before Christmas. And even if Baldoni's attorney wanted to file a counter complaint, he has to wait until after New Year's because the court was closed and attorneys are busy with their families during the holidays. This was totally strategic in Blake and Ryan's filing right before Christmas to get people talking about Baldoni negatively for 10 days at the very least. No one in the cast of the movie has come out and said they witnessed Blake being sexually harassed. They only said they feel for Blake since she claimed Baldoni "smeared" her on purpose. Believing Blake. Ryan Reynolds is way too powerful to go against as far as studios and attorneys and publicists don't want to lose him and his business. Everyone who actually saw all of her interviews for this movie saw the Blake they did not care for. They went online criticizing her. Also publicists are hired for one thing which is to make you look good and thwart bad publicity. In Blake's case, she did the interviews herself and showed her true colors. Baldoni's publicists saw Blake and her publicists try to throw Baldoni under the bus right from the beginning by claiming Baldoni called Blake "fat" by asking her weight. When in fact they purposely left out he has a bad back and in the film needs to lift her up. So, Baldoni and his PR team had a just in case plan which every PR team does including Blake's. Blake's PR team has Blake and Ryan making complaints against Baldoni to rehabilitate her reputation she ruined all by herself. The problem is that the Reynolds know they have the money to outlast Baldoni in court and drag it out which Baldoni supporting his wife and children cannot go through a long court procedure. There will eventually be a settlement of some kind. Why would Blake even want a trial where Baldoni's attorneys would show all the interviews Blake did for this film alone which shows she was tone deaf, insensitive, promoting only herself and her alcohol and hair products too. Me, me me me and I is the best way to sum up her own words in her interviews. For Ryan to hint he hasn't been the same has nothing to do with anything since he was part of the rewriting of the script which no one but Blake knew, during the writers strike no less. Where was he when supposedly Blake was being "sexually harassed?"

Here’s the thing, if everything she has claimed is truth, that would’ve been grounds for Sony to turn around and ‘force’ a buyout of the rights to the movies. They would’ve done something to the effect of, sell to us and step away from this project or we will go public with all that you’ve done (to JB). Blake and Ryan (Sony’s golden boy) win and Blake gets what she wanted in the first place. Complete control of the project. I’m in California and if I was chosen as a juror I would not discount the many videos of Blake’s atrocious behavior with different strangers who showed up to a gig to interview her and her hearing things that were not so; they did not mean to go after her or be rude to her, yet she not only misread their comments and questions , but then decided it was a good idea to bully them instead of politely or least professionally answering back and moving on toward finishing the interview. All while being videotaped. Shows she does this often and thinks it’s perfectly okay to crucify people on video. Yeah it would not be hard to see how Justin triggered her and Blake take it to another extreme extra level like she did, a level that didn’t even exist, to those unsuspecting poor reporters. I’m sure she was uncomfortable with Justin’s behavior. But she would me make uncomfortable too. I mean I would have to walk on eggshells around her not know what I would say to trigger something in her I didn’t know would. Good thing is that she and her husband are billionaires and she can fund her own projects and act to her hearts content.

It seems like the lawsuit is more about getting the rights to the whole Colleen Hoover franchise if there is one in the future since the first movie did well under the direction of Justin Baldoni. Colleen Hoover is on the money side thinking that associating herself with the Hollywood power couple will lead to bigger and better deals for her in Hollywood. I think that Melissa Nathan has too many war fronts right now and Baldoni made 2 mistakes 1. staying with Melissa Nathan and not his previous PR company who Melissa worked for and 2. not paying his previous PR company who had the access to his messages. Stephanie Jones is at a war with Melissa Nathan because she left her company amidst her conract and stole her clients/ her money. It seams that Mellisa Nathan is also at a war with her sister Sara Nathan who has the access to the press and is eager to expose her. Baldoni made two major strategic moves that created this mess. I’ve filed EEOC complaint, and I’m sure if I (or any other average citizen) would have tried the, very established process, the way she is doing it, would have been sued for defamation. But with her entitlement she thinks she can jump the investigator and the interactive process to cancel him in advance, in case the process doesn’t go her way. I’m happy she is receiving what she deserves. Even when we are victims, there are legal processes and both sides have to respect it, she is not above the law.
