the new one is out its the Sx160 (i have the 150) ive played with it at best buy and the only difference that the new one has built in wifi so if you film something you can upload it to youtube right from the camera which is pretty neat. Personally i think its the best concert camera because of the batteries its 2 double AA batteries as where the Nikon the one my mum has is a rechargeable so if you're batteries die at the concert you can quick change them :)

yeah no problem :) its really 12X optical zoom (in regular zoom its 48x) Optical zoom makes the lens longer so that the image is larger or in this case closer. only reason i know that cause my parents are professional photographers and i am surrounded by cameras. ill put a link in the description :D
