To EricSmith: "The love of Jesus Christ conquers all the evil in the world." Of the hundreds of religious utterances I've heard through many decades, this has to be one of the most egregious of all. I could never have enough time to point out the unimaginably countless ways in which this "love" has conquered nothing, and has shown no evidence of even existing. To what dizzying heights of naivte can your Christian fervor take you?

@@richardvolpe7664 If one believes as I do that God came to earth in the form of Jesus Christ, lived a good sinless Iife, and then sacrificed Himself on the cross so that all the sins of man could be forgiven... If you could see the monster I once was, and now the good man I have become... If you understood and believed as I do that Jesus will return and will end all the evil in the world... You would know the love of which I speak. Upon reading your message I instantly feel love for you, and prayed Jesus shows you His love. When I share the joy and love I see Justin embarking on. I encourage him. Because I know the good works Jesus can do in his life. Jesus is love. Man, and the demonic influence is where the bad in the world comes from. Not God. The corruption of the devil's agenda reaches all aspects of the world and people. From churches, to government, entertainment, family, and men and women of all walks of life. The idea that God's love conquering all evil is a egregious statement tells me of a lack of love and Jesus in your life. I pray this changes for you. It did for me.
