I want to say I wish you would have went with Justin Timberlake but I don't even know anymore cuz I think I've seen him one of them free calls or one of them white party so I can't even say that for sure so I don't even know where to tell these new artists to go to when they're that young I really don't I guess don't go at all till you're old enough to know what's going on before you even decide to step into that kind of business I guess or stay out of it all together

when he first started off, in the interviews he always said that having defjam and l.a reid supporting him would be good. but around the under the mistletoe album, when he got asked that, he said that usher would be the better artist to mentor him. i think young artists/actors are just way more vulnerable and he didn't have the best circle around him. like there was that year when he started acting out and we thought that it was just because the fame was getting to him, but maybe someone close to him could've checked up on him and they didn't. when you listen to lonely, it seems eerie because it was probably during that time he was feeling the worst. but even if he did go with justin, i don't know if he would've warned him of like grooming and people wanting to take advantage of him, because even though he knew about it first hand, look at how long it took for that lou pearlman documentary to come out. there was also a chance that even he might not have had his best interest in mind, as before either justin or usher, he was already in the studio of a christian record label. a lot of people wanted a piece of him, and that was first and foremost. i'd hate to imagine that if he would've went with justin and either taken the time off he needed to heal, or if he just didn't put out albums at all, it could've been similar to justin in how he only releases an album every six years. or he would've been like a lot of other young artists and just left the music industry for good, which would've been a waste because he did do some iconic songs.
