With JB's latest album he really changed the sound of music cuz I noticed so man artists following his sound he was giving out with like tropical EDM shit and that type of sound wasnt really mainstream in popular ultra but the n JB was doin that sound and he started this new era of sound in music that everyone is copying/getting inspiration from. he broke so many world records already and he just turned 23 like damn fuckin crazy like king 2.0 man

He wasn't being himself. Those are the type of artists who surrounded him at the time so he felt the need to fit in and just ended up looking like the dude from Malibu's most wanted. Just like when he was in the process of releasing purpose and he had a different group of people around him like skrillex and other edm, techno producers and also skaters. His style switched to like a grungy, rocker, skater style... Now he has his pastors and church members around him and now he seems to dress and carry himself similar to some of them. He's been through more phases than the moon son. I don't understand why he and some of his fans say he's always been himself when clearly he hasn't. The whole world has watched him switch from phase to phase. I think 2009-2010 is when he was most himself then we saw him gradually trying to ease into hiphop Around 2011-2012 but you can tell he still felt like an outsider then from 2013-2014 someone must've pumped his head up and told him he was the ultimate white Chris brown because to me it looked like he mimicked Chris' whole style around that time including with music, journals gives me a Chris brown/drake vibe for sure. 2015-2016 is where he seemed to have dropped the wannabe thug act and tried to get back to being himself. And 2017, he seems to have taken on the style of some of his church members. Nothing wrong with that
