Wal is a British company that started in the 70s by Ian Waller. Players like Geddy Lee and Percy Jones used Wal basses to great effect. As well as amazing workmanship, there basses use a filter system similar to Alembics to produce a wide array of sounds , rather than the more common bass, mid and treble eq. Wether it's true or not, Wal do not give there basses away to top players for endorsement, if you want one then you get your wallet out, no matter who you are.

Yep expect to pay minimum 10k even used. You may get lucky and get one for 8.5-9 range but that’s it.

there looked to be almost ten basses in his boat when I saw them on the this last tour, wonder why they didn't show any of the others?

Probably all identical models

I think mostly just different tuned ones and backups. He’s got a few Wal basses and some are different models. Not sure if he’s only got one stingray or more.

Three Birdseye Maple (main, backup, and ?), One Walnut tuned BEDG for Parabol(a), Green MK 3 tuned Drop C for the Pot, The Stingray for Descending, and P Bass for personal pleasure. They really only need to bring out the one Wal, like someone already said they're all pretty identical besides tuning and woods

Why segment an already uploaded video...just to re-post it?

Gen Z cannot pay attention. It would be ideal if the video was 1 minute long with a Minecraft overlay

Is this the same brand as Dingwal, or is Wal a different company?
@erkindanger8 ай бұрын
Different company. Wal basses have been around since the '70s and are made-to-order in the UK in very small numbers, and Dingwall basses are Canadian and can be purchased from higher-end instrument shops.

Tool is the most overrated band ever. We waited 10 years for a stupid jam session its sad when a perfect circle released a better album than tool did

The first time I put the needle down on my Rush - Power Windows album back in 1985, I was completely blown away by the sound of that Wal bass. I always wanted one but they were so expensive, and now they're basically impossible to find unless you have major cash. And forget about getting a new one.
