Being from Johnstown, PA, I always argue that Steeler Nation doesn’t really travel en masse. 1,000 people a year are said to leave my hometown alone, to find a job elsewhere like I had to. Many may complain about Fields. I have not looked at the comments on here yet but read many on facebook. We all know that he has many things he needs to work and improve on. Not turning the ball over is a step for him in the right direction. We all know that he was known for that and that was the difference in the game. he didn't turn the ball over while Cousins did. Both defenses played very good and both offenses struggled. The Steelers defense was better some than the Falcons but the turnovers were the difference. Many may say that the offense looked the same as Canada's did but they had less 3 and outs compared to the last 3 years and controlled TOP better than they had the past couple of years. That's a step forward for a rebuilding offense with a new OC, new system, new position coaches, new QB's and other new players that have many questions this season. the offense is a work in progress and to me, is still another off season away from having all the players they need on offense. On defense, hopefully they can keep this up. It was just one game but they looked better so far. The additions of Queen, Elliot and Jackson look good so far. Hopefully, they can keep it up and they stay healthy. TJ is the face of the Steelers to me

My co worker Thomas is an old head from so cal growing up in Oakland he played some ball at cal before he blew his knee out. He told me without a doubt this Steelers defense is one of the scariest hes seen in his 50+ years of watching and playing football and that alone made me feel so much better. He then stated how Justin didn't have a game plan drawn up for him so they ran the same 15 plays the whole game and they still found success although they didnt score a td they could have easily had they been prepared for Justin's play style. If he plays again week 2 Thomas told me they are gonna look allot better with him behind the wheel so ve patient Steelers fans he thinks we might have found something with Justin just needs accuracy work and i trust this mans judgment he's a statistical football nerd lol

No 3 and outs!! The offense were on the field!! Justin Fields has a strong arm. Being able to run 7 yards with ease to get 1st downs is great. Russell Wilson isn’t running like that to keep the offense on the field! Steelers only have 1 good receiver in George Pickens!! Van Jefferson doesn’t even need to be on the field! Van Jefferson had 210 total yards last season! Way too slow. Calvin Austin isn’t good outside of punt returner. These other receivers are terrible. Russell Wilson can’t do nothing with that. Justin Fields mobility combined with strong arm gives the Steelers best chance to win! Scotty Miller has better speed!! Out of current WR room Scotty needs to be on the field!! The talent level at WR outside of George Pickens is lackluster and absolutely subpar. Get another good WR and Steelers can put up 30 points a game easy!! Justin Fields can be a very good QB!!
