With all due respect to Justin, him saying Charles backed out with a gash in his head a week from the fight is odd after Gaethje, the BMF, who knew one way or the other he was soon coming up to a title fight and potentially with Islam, at that, backed out himself and refused the short notice fight when he was fully healthy, unlike Oliveira who had a big cut on his head. Reminds me of when Gaethje called Oliveira a quitter for tapping then quit and tapped to Charles.

Yes, Khabib and Islam have judo technic originally, because they have the same coaches Abdulmanap and Javier, one history in amateur sambo, they both are winners of Russian sambo national championship of two different years in a row. The have close close dagestan mentality. But it looks like Khabib more inclined to grappling, he studied more ground fighting skills, but Islam more likes striking. Khabib is better in ground working than Islam and Islam more in striking.

I wholeheartedly believe that Islam is better than Khabib. Khabib was very one-dimensional you only really had to worry about his TD attempts. But with Islam it's a completly different game. You have to worry about his striking(especially his kicks and counter punches), his wrestling,clinching and submission attempts(Where I think Justin will fail big time since he has no BJJ to save his life) Is Justin dangerous? HELL YEAH Can Justin's leg kicks affect Islam? HELL YEAH Can Gaethje KO Islam ? If Justin connects hard he can KO every LW.
