I can’t listen to this without tearing up. We lost our 30 year old son to a pulmonary embolism. I know he’s out there somewhere, and that somehow he can hear my voice. I know I’ll find him someday. Moody Blues was his favorite band. We opened his memorial service with “Your Wildest Dreams.”

Remember death is an illusion! I know this for a fact! I’ve been visited from beyond the grave by loved ones! They were able to speak to me and let me know their lives continued. There is a window from the time of death that they can speak to you if you have the ability to hear them! I didn’t want or try to be in contact with them but it happened for all the judgemental religious nuts who doubt my words! There is more to this life than your religions allow you to know! Be blessed until you see him again!

My husband died, young and unexpectedly, two months ago. This song that I have loved for thirty years now has even more of a bittersweet poignancy. “I know you’re out there Somewhere...” Thank you, as always. You may be driven to do what you do for you, and yet it brings others comfort and joy. Your life’s work brings me comfort, and fleeting joy, somehow even more with time. All blessings to you, sir.

Mom2Muses - So sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my mom in 1982 and she proved to me that, she was out there somewhere because a year and one day later, my daughter was born. Pretty amazing, being in the Navy and figuring out that you were home 52 days out of the year which would equal out to one day a week, so yes I knew she was out there somewhere and you can rest assure that your husband is out there watching over you. God bless and grant you peace.

23:07 Friday 14 August 2020, Hello Mom2Muses. I have written extensively already. Please I hope it is okay if I write some more again. I feel sad with you in your Mourning Loss. Thank you for your beautiful lovely words. I concur. I truthfully empathise with you so very much. In 1970 I lost My Young Mother Tragically. Tragic Complications Childbirth Loss Blood. Frightened new-teenage girl in High School in First Form/Year Seven. Circa 2 years later was my first discovery of The Moody Blues via radio. The Moodies' work comforted me during my devastating time and has been bringing me comfort and joy, and continues now bringing me much comfort and joy, for circa 48 years. My youngest Sister survived and she will be 50 years old later 2020 &, we commemorate 50 Years since we last saw our Mum and 40 years since we last saw our Dad. We are Mothers and Grandmothers Today. Our Mother and Father have been, and continue now even stronger, watching over us always. Your Husband is watching over you. God Bless you with much Peace and Joy. Thank you very much. Tasmania, Australia.

Justin truly is one of the great musical talents of the last 50+ years.. He’s got the whole package. He’s a great songwriter a superb singer with such a wonderful voice that has always shown great emotion..Let’s not forget he’s a really killer guitar player as well. Both on electric and acoustic. He could be one of the more underappreciated artists in the music world!

Justin has been on the cover of "Guitar Player" magazine more times than any other guitarist, bar none. He is well known, appreciated, and revered for his abilities among his fellow guitarists, just grossly underestimated and under-appreciated by non-guitar playing fans...
@RKRK-pp8ko4 жыл бұрын
@@loragunning5394 Interesting fact of which I was previously unaware. I'm pleased to learn that he's received such extensive peer recognition. My perception was purely anecdotal in that folks, sitting around casually discussing competent guitarists, almost always fail to rank him. So he struck me as one of those quiet, unsung, guitar heroes valued more for his lyrics than his instrumental virtuosity.

I never stopped loving her and this song helped carry me until I found her again 45 years. We had 4 years together before she died. Every time I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes yet joy to my heart, because, once again, I know she is out there somewhere. She just left earth before me. She will always be with me, both in this life and the hereafter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I know the radio edit for this song drops my favorite verse "The words that I remember from my childhood still are true, that there's none so blind as those who will not see. And to those who lack the courage, say it's dangerous to try, well they just don't know that love eternal will not be denied". Kind of sad that I can't find that verse in any of the live versions either.

Justin Hayward has always been an inspiration to me as a guitarist, singer and songwriter since I first discovered the Moody Blues. I had a riff that I'd had been playing for years in my head that didn't ever go anywhere. One day I was listening to this song and his other song called I Dreamed Last Night and it inspired me to write one of my own songs within about 5 minutes using this riff. My song sounds nothing like either of these songs but it has the same familiar theme and feeling about wondering what happened to a previous love. I'm so blessed that Justin Hayward's music could inspire me to create something of my own.

I recognized several of their hits and immediately kept listening. Justin is still magical with his guitar and vocals. His range isn't what it used to be, but for his age, he still sounds awesome.

“I Know You’re Out There Somewhere” and "Your Wildest Dreams" are possibly the greatest tunes of all time. Fight me.

I guess I should start by saying - HUGE Moody's fan here from when they first started playing music. When I heard Justin talking about " In your Wildest Dreams" I paused this video and went and watched the Wildest Dreams video-been a long time since I heard it...and I teared up. I had forgotten that the "Somewhere" video is a continuation of the Wildest Dreams video. So I love these stories that Justin tells and the fact that he wrote the song "I know your out there somewhere" as a follow up to Wildest Dreams. On top of the fact the I just love Justin's music, another reason watching "In your wildest dreams brought me to tears is the girl that is obviously suppose to be Justin's girlfriend in the video....The love of my life kind of looked like her and she was every bit as cute. Anyway We are all so lucky Justin is still around and still making music and memories for us!
