I'm from Philly and was watching the draft with a couple friends and obviously, they're all Eagles fans, and they were telling me I was crazy for wanting Herbert to be our QB ! It's actually kinda crazy how Charger fans aren't already demanding a Herbert-Tua trade, if I were you I'd start telling all your friends that trade needs to happen, heII just start telling everyone you see. If enough word of mouth spreads we could probably make this a done deal by pre-season. I'm pretty sure I can get most Miami fans on board, now it's up to you to do the same in LA. Did I mention future 8 time ring holder? People down here are throwing around words like GOAT, Brady 2.0 and even Multi-HoF. But hurry up, other teams like Kansas and Buffalo are vying for Tua also.

@@bennypit4411 how the hell is he a bust, he threw for over 5000 yards, posted a passer rating of 97.7, and made the pro bowl last season. Don't forget 2020 when he was named the OROY and rookie of the year. Tua's career stats add up to only 131 more yards, 4 less passing touchdowns, and 5 more interceptions than JH's rookie season. oh yeah, and Justin's had a higher qbr throughout the 2 seasons that each of them have been in the NFL

You can tell Justin was a Chargers fan growing up. A lot of his mannerisms emulate Philip Rivers who was well known for his "clean" demeanor. Only difference is that Philip Rivers was a fiery outspoken competitor and Justin Herbert is quiet and calm.

Makes it all worth it as we OR folks defended this kid all throughout his time at OR and the draft process. It was vitriol and I took in personally. He was always like this. Never wanted the attention, great personality, a quiet leader, only about team and raised the right way. Football doesn’t even matter, he’s what you would want your sons to grow up to be. Many LAC fans didn’t want him so I take all this attention with a grain of salt. One bad yr, bad game those same ppl will turn on him and no one knows that more than him.

(Such a welcome change from Rivers.) He is perfect, regardless of win/loss record. And evidently quite the authority on parallel parking. Watching him play at Oregon was a blast... every time a WR dropped a pass there was crumbling about how bad the receivers were but I knew better. Even then he was an NFL QB throwing to high school kids, you couldn't expect them to catch the ball unless he threw at half speed.
