I disagree with people saying Herbert should have more run plays. Herbert’s running is most lethal when everyone fears his arm. He did a great job of taking advantage of the opportunities to scramble out of the pocket and pick up some good gains, but that’s all he should be doing. Chargers can’t risk him getting hurt. However, Herbert definitely should keep that option available especially on 3rd down, gotta get the first at whatever cost. But we don’t need him doing zone read run plays like he’s Kyler Murray lol.

Even when the steelers mounted that comeback it never rattled Justin Herbert. He would drop back and if the guy was open he threw it without hesitation or just run, it was simple for Herbert that night in his first game against the steelers.

I personally don't want him hit that much it's one thing to scramble on breakdowns when it's open and you can get down usually. Off of zone reads it's much tighter and you're often getting the quarterback tackled. Yes he's a great runner but I want him to keep running the way he's been sporadically off breakdowns or open lanes and not designed runs at the line.

He'd get hurt. Doesn't matter that he's 6'5". ACLs and ankle ligaments don't get tougher and bigger just because you're tall and big. You don't want that. Only Lamar Jackson should be authorized to run from the QB position. He's wiry and built much tougher than any QB in history.

Actually it helps his power. If you watch his throw in slow motion when he throws he pulls his left hand back towards himself generating more power for his rotation when throwing. He's pulling back with his left arm and throwing forward with his right simultaneously.

Steelers fans took over San Diego games too. I was at the Patriots game a few weeks ago and it wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. It was about 50/50 and the stadium was mostly filled. Steelers and Vikings all have a fair amount of fans in California, while the Cowboys basically have their own market. Seeing Cowboys fans is just THAT normal
