We had recently lost a. Fellow friend, a fellow brother in blue in the spring... I cant tell you how hard it hit us all... this song makes me cry so hard. We were out hunting for turkeys, the thing our fellow Zach loved to do. His passion was hunting. He loved it. I'll never forget it. We were listening for gobblers when we heard the sound that made our hairs on our neck stand up, sirens. Not even 3 miles from us, he crashed... we heard it all from less than 3 miles away. We knew something was up. So we left our hunting spot to find out, as we got to our car, it was then that we got the call. Our friend died in the accident on his way home from working night shift. It was the first time I'd seen my SO, cry.... we all cried....

" I remember as a young boy ,my granddaddy stopped the car and got out and took off his hat and stood there while a funeral passed us" He did not know them ,but he said it would make the family feel better that people recognize their loss. Now I’m a nurse and even being the hospital esp the ER isn’t safe but I fear even more for my husband who is working the same job I was before and the streets are getting rougher and rougher. Thank you for bringing the emotional family and life struggles of a first responder to life I. Your video!!
