For some Alan is an acquired taste. The more I see him here the more I love him. I've not laughed so hard in years. This interview was priceless. Only sorry not to see full shows. Only a few yanks can really get into the full spirit of Alan's personality and humour. It is delicious to watch how they struggle to keep up and/or not to look shocked or foolish. Here JT struggles to keep his head above water. Credit that he did manage to hold his own a couple of times with a good comeback.

It’s just good to see them relaxed on a British chat show drinking and show their real personality to keep up with the humour because the hosts have a laugh with them. Americans are much funnier on British chat shows.

Core to the English culture seems to be hating Americans out of pretty much jealousy which is said on most videos like this so not super hard to get. Also it’s not exactly a code made for the enigma machine to crack and grasp the apparently vast complexities of British humor and customs. A British person has said that on the videos of like ten or fifteen American celebrities so apparently it isn’t that hard to get. I think most Americans do fine most likely and the English just say they don’t because they want to dislike Americans and elevate their own culture as some advanced unique thing only a privileged few can understand.

One question (A serious one believe it or not): How is his hair has turned smoothly from curly as ramen noodles into bald and then into this (much better I must say) straight suave hair? I am obviously not a huge fan of his but I thought that he really had natural curly hair. So he either had a perm to go from maruchan to suave ORRR he has always been tricking me and been sporting a cool suave set of hair under those awful embarrassing locks of maruchan!!
