I cook this man's smoked turkey every year at Thanksgiving. There's nothing better. I love this guy as a child. He still amazing to watch today. Everyone should get his cookbook

I loved his shows. And I really loved to hear him ❤️ 💗💖 talk. He could make you laugh. And my goodness I would get hungry watching him cook. I wish we could bring him back he was truly one of a kind. May he rest in peace. Sincerely Ann Pierson.

Joostan makes a good point about the bitter end of an onion. However, you want to leave the bitter end on to chop it efficiently in the manner of Jacques Pépin. Then when you get to the bitter end, discard and don't use it.
