If I sprinkle chocolate chips down first before the pretzels, it comes out more like English Toffee, and breaks easier. When we had cold winters, I used to put my tray outside to keep cool.

Just a tip as I recently made this.... You have to cook the brown sugar mixture when it starts to boil for 3 minutes without stirring. This looks a little soft when she breaks it up. Also I used white chocolate and it was so good.

try the same pretzels but pop a rolo on top add a walnut or pecan pop in oven for a few minutes, yummy
