Excellent review. Loved the comparison graphics. Great touch.

You brought up the Kona base engine but the Kona has two engine choices. The 147hp for the lower two trims (CVT), the 190hp engine for the N-Line and Limited trims paired to an automatic transmission (no DCT).

I love my CivicCross, I’m sorry meant HRV23 sport✔️ I always wanted a “hondurus” 👀 you get it ? No complaints, that’s the reason I got the HRV 2023 sport ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

is there no difference between the 2023 and 2024 HRV?

Do you know how to turn off seatbelt alarm in 2024 Toyota tundra

Why did they remove the ability to flip the back seats up? I loved that! Two greyhounds could stand in the extra space.

They built this one off the civic platform. Since Honda Fit discontinued 😮💨😩

With HR-V using newer Civic platform not Honda Fit. Something about placement of fuel tank. I also like the Magic Seats. We have them in Honda Ridgeline Pickup Truck in family. Wonderful for flat-floor storage. Bicycle or tall plant or flower can fit there.

I always tell people not to walk away from Honda CVTs, they should RUN.

Most new Honda models have CVTs tho. Should consumers run away from Honda¿ don’t think so
@jjacob251017 ай бұрын
@@weaksauce7xMost smaller cars and vehicles have CVTs unless they have a manual or rarely a conventional automatic. Honda and Toyota CVTs are some of the most reliable. They use the CVT for simplicity and mpg standard in the industry.

At present, the procurement of vehicles has become increasingly arduous due to the prevailing elevated interest rates. This economic environment renders the acquisition of vehicles financially prohibitive for the majority of individuals. Last year, I made a purchase of a vehicle for the sum of fifty thousand dollars. Presently, a vehicle priced at twenty-nine thousand dollars is more expensive than my aforementioned vehicle. GO FJB!

So basically, buy a Buick Envista instead of an HR-V despite it being a 3-cylinder because it has an automatic transmission instead of a CVT. To me, CVTs from Honda and Toyota are no problem. My mother had a 2018 Civic EX-L with a CVT and has had no issues as of now. I still don’t trust CVTs from Nissan and Subaru.

Honda’s been building cvt for a long time and has adjusted to it properly. It sucks due to being so loud and slow for economic gas. But I’d trust it cuz it’s a HONDA

What was the point of changing this car in 2023? It was the perfect small suv and great for single people who didn't have all kinds of crap to put in the back! They made it longer and wider and they changed the styling which I think turned it into a clunk. If people wanted a bigger suv they could have bought the CRV which is one of the top sellers. So other than being able to charge us more for this larger version, I just don't see the point of this model. Honda made record profits in 2023 and like Toyota they are raising the price on their 2025's. It seems the manufacturer hasn't heard that ppl can't afford these OVER PRICED CARS ❗❗❗

The new HR-V is using the current Honda Civic platform. Not built on the previous Honda Fit platform so that would make it change. You mention the CR-V that also grew in size. I like the looks of new HR-V we just bought a 2024 HR-V EX-L AWD about two weeks ago. I'm a Honda Guy have been for 44yrs. I myself have only owned Honda/Acura vehicles. Many family members purchased them because of me. I picked out my sister's Honda Ridgeline Pickup Truck 17yrs ago. It's still going. My nephew my sister son needed a newer vehicle to replace his older Ford Focus 2009. I said get new Honda Civic myself and his mother helped him in emergency. So we got it for him put in his name piad for. Sister said at that time she wanted a vehicle to keep mileage off her aging Honda Pickup Truck. We looked at use vehicles on internet CarMax type places. Almost as high as new. So I had been seeing a bunch of newer HR-V so I did my research quickly off to dealership to get the new HR-V. I like it I drove it the 80 miles home from Dealership. The other day sister and I put about 140 miles on it. She drove and drives faster than me. It can move when up to speed. I'm familiar with Magic Seats in old HR-V. The Ridgeline Pickup Truck has this. But that's gone on newer HR-V. My sister had a loaner older HR-V few years ago when Honda fix recall on her Ridgeline. I rode to dealership with her. The older HR-V doesn't compare to this.

It's a lot of competition in the small CUV market. Honda made the right choice to redesign this vehicle. I was just taking notice of competition in the week in half since getting HR-V. It's not what I want I'm purchasing a 2025 Honda Pilot Elite soon. So I keep up with Honda/Acura vehicles.

@@fredmoss4540 -You missed my point. There was no reason to make the HR-V larger. If ppl wanted larger they could buy the CR-V.
